Ordinarily I wouldn't make a brand new topic for this, and of course my fellow mods can feel free to move the thread and/or lock it and hide it if they feel it's out of line.

Someone accessed Mibbit's NickServ database the other day, and Mibbit responded by taking both NickServ and ChanServ offline until this morning. But as of this morning, they are both back online. People who have registered nicknames (i.e. the ops and admins, at the very least) will have to restore their passwords, but there's an easy way to do it, and we have it linked, and will for some time.

There was initially some worry at Mibbit about peoples' credentials having been stolen, but from the looks of what was taken, nobody here should have any problems, unless they've been using Mibbit's IRC server since January of 2010 or earlier.

Anyway, Angora is back. Thanks for your time.
