I'm pretty sure that was Jay running at the end. It definitely wasn't the Operator.

Does anyone else think that the chimney is something very important? Perhaps there are more tapes in it? Or, hey, it might even be the ark that keeps popping up.

-Right now the plot is focusing on answering unresolved questions regarding character identities, motivations, props-of-power, plot devices, missing people/things, the nature of the Operator, you get the idea (probably because Troy and Joseph are looking forward to the end of Marble Hornets so they can move on to their comedy series)
-It now seems like the next part to be resolved will be whatever the "ark" is. After that I don't know.

I doubt a brick chimney is the ark. I think we'll just have to wait.

Why wouldn't it have been Jay? He was the only person besides Slenderman there, he freaks out, and then leaves the camera and runs for his life.

I think they've come out and said that it isn't.

Well, the chimney might not be the ark, but it might have the ark in it, or the tree that's on top might have something to do with it.

As to how the camera was recovered, well, who's to say that Alex didn't show up later and return it?

I think Jay was running from Jessica (who is Slendy) because TTA is Alex and the pills Tim took legally changed Alex's middle name to Robert.

Alex R. Kralie = ARK

Alex is the ark. TTA is leading Jay to a hidden cache in Alex's anus that holds the key to defeating Slendy.

Or, the bricktree could just be a distraction, and Slendy's appearance there in particular could be a coincidence, having chased Jay around for a while. This points toward Slendy being totheark.

However, on the assumption that it IS the ark, or that the ark is in it, there are two possibilities that come out of it. One of the possibilities is that Slendy is protecting the ark. Another possibility is that Slendy is totheark and is trying to 'unlock' it. In both cases, Jay seems to be the 'key' to the ark.

I definitely agree that Jay is the key to all this, but I'm having a little trouble thinking of Slendy as totheark. It seems like it would contradict so many things we've noticed about Slendy and technology, especially.

Who said anything about defending the ark? They're just saying Slender Man's not TTA because honestly, enough already with the idea that a supernatural alien entity maintains a youtube account. That's so absurd it's insulting.
