 		Entry #14 This proves the theory of "cant be seen on camera," yet disproves it at the same time.

Proves - Slendy walks in, and then when Alex freaks and wakes up and he doesn't see him. Adds proof to the can't be seen on camera one.

Disproves - Alex gets owned in the middle of the night and when he changes the tape, alex appears to be looking at something in shock in his room, that could be slendy, or he was just too freaked to be looking at the camera.

Also - this entry gives proof to the slendyporting however it looks like Slendy made his way by means of physical transport (Walking, gliding, flying, etc...) and then buggered off after he smacked alex.

This also questions the "doorways are portals" theory. Slendy clearly made it into the room before disappearing. Sure, he could have gone into a dresser or something but it's unlikely he had that time. Thus it could be said that Slendy can teleport whilst off camera and thus the camera 'anchors' him to this reality. But in Return he doesn't move smoothly, he jumps closer to the camera, almost as if warping.

I don't know why this stuck me as so absurdly funny... And more on point, did we see if there was a closet in the room? I personally think Slendy is not limited to teleporting through doorways like Tim is (assuming that he can blah blah blah), but if he is, that could be an explanation.

I had always assumed that the jumping forward was due to distortion/editing more than to warping, but this is an interesting possibility. I hadn't considered that it might just be how he was moving.

There's a lot of conflicting evidence regarding the whole "can Slendy only be seen a certain way" thing. I Entry 12, everybody seems to see *something*, because they say things like, "What's he doing?" and, "He'll move." Whether they're seeing Slendy as we see him is unclear.

But then, as 7yearsinthefuture says, Entry 14 seems to support the idea that he *can't* be seen unless through a lens - unless he did manage to teleport out of the room while Alex was up looking at the door.

 		I seem to think that when Slendy goes into the room in 14, it's just an edit when Alex wakes up. Slendy disappeared from the room a while before.

That is true. The screen does go entirely black and the audio cuts back in - it could very well be an edit. If that's true, I guess the question becomes whether it was something Jay did (and if so, to what purpose?) or if it's something that was done to the tape itself.

Who says they are cuts, i can tell that for some of them, jay must have just been turning off his camera, not editing the footage. The first cut after he calls alex, you can see he lowered the camera to turn it off. As for some of the jumpiness, i'd say distortion, like the cut between the distortion forest with the slendy tree in the back and cutting to the log in the chimney area.

I think that's what he meant: jumps between points in time--due to Jay editing because of noneventfulness OR because of turning off the camera.
