Nope.

I am talking about the end, not season 2.

It's for general discussion of the series, it's just called Season Two, because that's what's going on. This way did not deserve it's own thread.
...never in my life have I come across a forum populated by so many people alergic to new threads. I don't see anything wrong with this having its own thread: it's talking about something specific and most people would be unwilling to go through the disjointed conversation of the general S2 thread to discuss the ending of the series. Jeez.

Alergic! That's the word I've been looking for! Thank you! I see nothing wrong with new threads as long as they are specific.

I'm against troll threads, but who isn't except the people who make them?

The point is to keep the forum clean with one thread for a very specific topic, and anything that is only worth a few posts, move it to a general thread.

A cleaner forum is much prettier on the eyes, easier to find that thread you wanted to read, or for new users who are trying to post something, but there are four different threads about the same thing.

Get it?

Yeah, but what was the cause to hate on this thread? It's a speculation thread on the very specific topic of the ending of MH.

[1] [2] [3] [4] [5]

There are some threads that could be merged into general discussion or removed from the board.

I think this is a legitimate thread just like any individual Entry thread is.

iI think it's a bit hard to make an ending for this kinda thing. On one hand, having them somehow "kill" slendy is a bit... eh. but just killing jay off is even worse. But ambiguity kills any sort of resolution or satisfaction with the series...

so i have no clue how they can do it well.

You keep a forum clean by vapourising spam/troll topics rather than encouraging people not to reply. Just delete it and be done with it. Discouraging people from making new (and legitimate) threads is a bit of a double edged sword as it will discourage people from posting in general. Fair enough, hound on people for posting duplicate topics of something else, but asking people not to post focused topics on something that could actually hold a thread for more than a few posts isn't going to help anyone.

And it does not make it easier to find a thread you want to read. A newbie looking for discussion on the ending of the series would NOT think to look in the General S2 Discussion thread. I know I definitely would not.

It's for general discussion of the series, it's just called Season Two, because that's what's going on. This way did not deserve it's own thread.

Everybody needs to stop wanting everything to be thrown into the Season Two thread.
If you're going to be that picky with not making new topics then why not throw every entry into the Season Two thread?
BECAUSE IT'S MESSY.
Stop being so picky about new threads please.

Agree 100% If everything like this goes in the Season 2 thread then it becomes a big mess of ideas that hold no relevance. On topic, I'm really hoping for a Marble Hornets reunion where most of the cast come together against slendy and/or Alex (I'm gunna stick with my Alex is the antagonist theory) setting an eleborate trap. Unfortunatly, we still seem to be in the conflict stage but that just means the climax is yet to come and should be EPIC

I can't help but think that Jay will need to discover a way to Slendy-proof his camera.

Otherwise, I can't imagine an epic, mystery-answering confrontation with Slenderman unless Jay finds a way to prevent his camera from messing up whenever Slendy's around.

And no, by "confrontation", I do not (necessarily) mean "fight."

yeah i'm honestly so sick of these whiney kids complaining every time a new legitimate thread is made. its good discussion

i really think the ending will surprise us a bit, i really don't want characters to die but i don't want slendy to either. i definitely don't want a cliffhanger ending either, those are the worst unless there is going to be another season which there won't be.

I personally think it will have something to do with TTA and/or Timasky. Slenderman is just too godly, in a wat; how can you kill something that can bend reality to its will? I mean, its not like Jay is action man, he can't take on a being pretty much beyond our comprehension. And negotiations with the thing that slowly kills you just by being near it is highly unlikely.

TTA and Timaksy, however, are verified as human, or at least not untouchable; they are not invincible. TTA can be caught on camera, and Masky can be double-teamed with a rock. And on top of it, they have goals beyond just screwing with or killing Jay; TTA wants the Ark, and Masky's goal seems just to be preventing Jay from getting info (scaring him half to death, forcing him out of the house, attacking Alex, kidnapping(?) Jessica, and preventing Jay from getting the tapes). These two are the ones that are close enough to human to actually confront and get more than the equivalent of a taser, or perhaps torture.

But there's always the chance that Slenderman can be killed/defeated by some type of other godly device. Perhaps the "ark" is such a device.

Perhaps the ark will tell us the source of Slendy's power, and maybe what he is?
Also, where exactly does Jessica fit in to all of this? And what about Seth? And the only thing we know is that Sarah is "gone"... I definitely foresee there being more light shined on to these questions.
And I do see Alex betraying Jay at some point...

It just doesn't seem like MH style to kill off slendy, or to give Jay any power beyond that of a trapped, scared victim who is barely able to fight for his memory and knowledge, might as well go on the offensive.

Also, as for slendy itself, I always saw him as a sort of tendril. Imagine a massive tree, beyond perhaps even the tangible, like one of those in Entry 40. Imagine one of the tendrils of this incomprehensible thing, and having that imbed itself into the Earth. The tendril grows, feeding off what it finds there. And it takes the form of whatever it pleases, slowly feeding off the life of some of its victims while quickly bringing down others for immediate nutrition. It even plays with those it slowly feeds on, amusing itself as it engorges on their memories and health.
Of course, thats just me, but nonetheless it is hardly beyond imagination if slendy is something like that, where truly doing anything to it is pretty much impossible.

I hope they end it like Inception: have an ending that appears to be open ended, but upon multiple rewatches is actually quite clear.

And then Jay was the Slenderman.

Seriously though, I can't really see it ending on a "happy" or "victorious" note, beyond a very immediate version of one (maybe they survive a specific encounter, or survive in general with nothing left to lose) but definitely would want them to resolve the mysteries they've set up.

Someone else mentioned a "marble hornets reunion", and I actually think that having an ending that has something to do with the original student film could be cool, since at this point it seems pretty insignificant beyond the fact that it happened. I'm a fan of having cool tie-ins to early on in the series, even though this series isn't linear in the timeline by any means
