Since we've recently waltzed right into the territory where people certainly die here and shit gets real, this is one way it could end:

*Alex reveals his slenderness in Rosswood in 38's continuation
*Jay runs, gets killed, and we don't hear from him for a little bit
(the above happened but we dont know it as of yet)

It's all revealed enttry 37 style, or on the TTA channel, TTA and the maskies having found the remains of Jay and his beloved camera.

Regardless it is revealed to us by TTA. In my opinion, that would be a big slam to the ending of the series.

But...Jay is still alive. How could Jay have died in the continuation of 38 and then still be alive to post entry 38 in the first place?

Not to mention that we've had a few "in the present moments" in this season. All of the hotel videos are supposed to be going on right now (unless I'm mistaken), and last we saw from the hotel was Jessica going *poof* and Masky rushing Jay out of there. We don't even know where he's posting from right now, really, or if it's actually him anymore. Sure he could be dead and somebody else has taken over his channel pretending to be him, but then why with the consistancy? The only agenda that changed when we went back to viewing videos of the past three months was that Jay's avoiding posting videos of what's going on in the present. If I were scared for my life, I wouldn't make that stuff public either.

Oh darn. Perhaps Jay met his demise during the Tweetpocalypse?

Also probably not likely. hmm.

At any rate, if the ending was revealed to us by TTA, be it Jay's final bow or not, it would still be a great ending. For some reason, the thought that the others were more concurrent didn't occur to me. Wibbly wobbly storylines, i suppose.

That would also be something to add to my bit, Jay would post something similar to Entry 26, and then TTA shows us a raw tape from MH I was talking about. He can make it fucked up as he likes, or not.

Sorry, just reposting this...I made a lot of errors, was in a bit of a rush when I posted it Smile

Hmm....My guess? Cut to Amy's bedroom. Amy uncovers a ritual from her experiences which will protect them from Slenderman, as long as they stay inside a Pagan chalk circle (my apologies to any Mexican posters, I'm not really acquianted with witchcraft practices there). We see the Jessica and Amy drawing up a chalk circle and begin a Pagan-like ritiaul to protect themselves from Slenderman, one which Emma learnt from when she was in Mexico. Jay is busy fussing over the camera, outside of the circle. The two girls don't rush him, as by now they have adjusted to Jay's camera obbession.

Slenderman turns up suddenly in the doorway. The two women urge Jay to get inside the circle, but by this time, he's had enough. Jay lies frozen to the spot, unable to move. The girls scream as Slenderman moves in, slowly, almost patiently towards Jay and then he breaks Jay's neck. He falls lifeless to the floor. He moves towards them, slowly, relentlessly, moving towards them. Amy holds Jessica tightly, who is screaming hysterically, desperate, somehow, to get to Jay's body. She tries to move out of the circle, but Amy continues to hold her. Slenderman moves closer, closer towards them, barely a breath away and then....

The camera flickers.
And Slenderman is not there.
No FX, he is simply not in the shot.

Jessica breaks away from Amy and rushes over to Jay's body and screams hysterically, crying her eyes out. Amy nearly catanonic, mummbles: "I think it worked."

Cut to a caption:

It's been six months since then....and nothing has happened.
No Slenderman.
We don't even know if it was Slenderman.

We're trying to move on with our lives.

But we're leaving the videos here, so that other people can be on guard. So that they know exactly what their up agasint.

As for The Ark, c'mon, I really don't think it's going to be anything good. For me, it's clearly connected to the odd behaviour of Jay, Alex and Logan, someone clearly directly under the influence of....whatever it is. Given the smashed dolls and the attempt to 'fix' them up, it looks more like brain washing. Maybe Jay is the one broken and can't be fixed

Actually I'm not a troll - and I'm also quite offended.

Yes, I did make a few errors in my previous post and I don't think honestly that it's a crime to believe that Just Another Fool and Marble Hornet's are related. Given that it's stated on the Marble Hornets Wiki that it is a side story to Marble Hornets, it's not really a crime to argue that their in the same universe. If this is wrong, blame the Wiki, not me.

Logan, is a character in the blog, a side story to Marble Hornets. You can read it here:

http://jafool.wordpress.com

The link which verifies it as a side story to Marble Hornets is here:

I'm enjoying Marble Hornets, came on here, thought I could find people who enjoyed it and find polite conversation concerning Marble Hornets. If you think my theory/ending is bad, fine. But I think a modicum of respect is in order. Not bringing out the rainbow sparklers, but everyone has a right to post their opinons on what the ending of Marble Hornets might be like. If you hate my post, ignore it. Discuss your own pet theories. Have fun. I sure haven't.

Anyway, ciao forum.

I'm gonna raise the question again... why is the Just Another Fool material still hosted on the MH wiki? This is an honour that has been bestowed on literally no other Slendyblog and whilst I can see there being some point to documenting it, I think it's long past time that the material was shifted to its own wiki (or given over to one of the multi-series Slendy wikis out there - I believe Slender Nation have been working on one).

Whether or not this Hex guy is a troll, having JAF on the MH wiki creates the impression that it's far more significant in a Marble Hornets context than it actually is.

@Hex2: Just Another Fool is not a side-story to Marble Hornets. It has nothing at all to do with MH in any official capacity. Information about JAF was posted on the MH wiki for an unknown reason, even though the stories are not connected. Additionally, JAF has ended and none of the characters therein have relevance to this or any other Slender Man-related story.

I hope this clears up your confusion. Smile

Theories get shot down all the time. I'm new to this forum as well and I've noticed that part of the point is to shoot down theories that just plain don't work. Here's that respect you were looking for, if you're still reading.

Your theory does not make sense for the following reasons:
  1. OOG: It's a B-Horror moving ending that draws last minute solutions and connections that would make the whole series seem like no planning had gone into whatsoever. It also ruins suspense completely, which is what this series is about.
  2. When has Mexico ever been important to this series? And why is it that Mexican pagan rituals are important now?
  3. Although you don't know too much about paganism, and that's fine, the occultists in the forum may well know that chalk circles are all well and good for common threats, but for something as unique and disturbing as Big Op? Come on! If some sort ritual will stop him, it's obviously going to be connected to other things we've seen in the series. One of the most common theories on what the Ark is states that it could be a ritual or place that Slendy can't attack them from.
  4. I sadly have to agree that this is both the least entertaining and least sensible ending I've seen posted. This is a work of Chaotic Fiction that they've spent 2 years on and they're going to spend another year on, give them some credit that however it ends, it's going to contain the thrills we've come to expect and probably won't answer everything for us. If they want us to be in suspense, then they can end it with suspense.

There's your respect. I've freely shared opinion with honesty on a board designed to do it. If you'd like to call my ideas stupid, do so, because the internet, no matter how kind a forum might be, is not a place for people who can't take what they dish out.

 Theory

ok, so slendy began stalkin alex because he needs him to do something to find the ark. but when he gets caught on camera he has to stop alex and destroy the tapes because he dosnt want to leave evidence that he existed, and the tapes are preventing him from getting to the ark somehow.

totheark dosnt want slendy to get to the ark and has to kill alex because hes possibly the only suitable host to fir slendy. but jay gets involved, but poor jay is a threat to stop the totheark plan and also to slendy.

after slendy posessses alex, he uses him to find out the things he needs to to get to the ark, but jay has tapes too. and one shows that Tim is part of the totheark, and also of slendy. so theyr both after Jay, alex (slendermanified) slendy, and totheark, so anyone who has been involved with Jay is dissapearing, or turning totheark.

Jessica and alex knew eachother andso slendy brainwiped her and hid her (or maybe totheark took her and put a mask on her. the totheark wears the masks because they prevent them from getting brainwiped, slendy dosnt have a face, so if he cant see theirs, he has no influence on them. and when they took Tims off, slendy influenced him.

so in short, slenderman is trying to find the ark, (maybe hes a former totheark?), hes using alex to help fulfill his mission. Totheark is also looking for the ark, but if slendy gets it first, they dont go. Jay was dragged into this because he found the tapes, maybe totheark wants him to help them, but attacks him to see if hes capable to stop slendy!!!

I apologize for slandering your theory. If you are still reading I would just like to say that it seemed to silly and B movie like of a theory that I honestly got a little frustrated and mean which was totally uncalled for. Once again I apologize and hope that this has not driven you of the forum.
