Given how things seem to be geared towards making Jay go all these places and do all these things, I have two theories (that are absolutely crazy XD).

1. The whole thing is some strange psychological experiment to find out what it would take to make Jay go insane or something.

2. Alex never stopped making Marble Hornets - he's just setting the whole thing up so he can film Jay secretly.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't think the original Marble Hornets film was about guys going insane while trying to solve the mystery of a tall faceless man.

XD I could have phrased that better. Alex just decided to make a different film. Better?

Marble Hornets
The First Paranormal Snuff Film
Directed by Alex Kralie

XDDD Maybe that's how it ends - with Jay dead and the Operator destroying the camera.

Jay witnesses all of his friends dying around him, to which he promptly yells "SLENDERMAN, YOU ARE A BIG DICK AND I HATE YOU". This upsets slenderman and he cries with his nonexistant eyes and runs away.

Naw, he smiles with his non-existant mouth and says "You just stood up to me. Good for you. That's all I was waiting for."

PLEASE stop making posts like this.

It's okay, he said that he is sorry. Stop screaming at him and get on topic.

Oh, I only read the first page before making that post. I apologize.

And then Jay felt repulsed...and yet, at the same time, attracted. He gradually drew closer, thinking about those soft, shadowy tentacles...and that lovingly blank face....and he knew that TTA was right. The Operator belonged to others....the Operator belonged to him.

Best not to think of the children, really.

My ideal ending for Marble Hornets:

The entry is titled "Final Entry". As it begins, we see Jay, Alex, and several of the other Marble Hornets cast members who have since been reunited. They are all sitting together looking slightly troubled. After several seconds of silence, Jay explains that they all have to go to the ark to finish this, and they are unsure if they will be able to reach us from there. They say their final goodbyes as the entry ends. For the next few hours, Jay details their journey via the Twitter account, posting tweets, pictures, and maybe even short video clips. But over time, the tweets, pictures, and clips become corrupted, to the point where they are illegible. Finally, they stop abruptly with a tweet containing only the word "here".

Cut to several days later. Suddenly, a new video appears on the Marble Hornets account, simply titled "Goodbye". It is long for a Marble Hornets entry: 10 minutes at least. It starts off with a clip of what appears to be the inside of Alex's house. In the very center of the frame, we see the Operator just standing there in plain view, his head tilted to the side. There is no audio, apart from some very quiet and very distorted whispering. As the image of the Operator zooms in, the whispering gets louder and louder. After two minutes, the Operator turns around and slowly exits the room. Suddenly, the room immediately catches fire. Cut to a black screen.

As distorted music plays, we cycle through corrupted pictures of the Marble Hornets cast. Each picture contains the actor's name and birthdate. After all the photos have gone by, the date of the video's uploading is shown.

Cut to what appears to be the inside of a hotel, being filmed on a cheap handheld camera. The cameraman walks into one of the rooms to reveal a horrifying sight: all of the Marble Hornets cast, cold and lifeless on the floor. The camera turns around, and the holder is revealed to be Tim, still wearing his mask. He puts the camera on a tripod and sits on the bed. He turns to a nearby stereo and begins to play his favorite death metal album. He removes his mask. Finally, he pulls out a pack of cigarettes and smokes them. All of them. One by one, in real time. Once he's finished, he turns off the music and looks directly at the camera. "I don't give a fuck".

Cut to black, series over.

I applaud you and approve of this statement/theory.

I don't care how it ends, but Tim's sideburns need to die in a heroic sacrifice. They are too good for this sinful world.

Didn't care much for the rest, but that part was great.
