Hey, guys - sorry in advance if I'm stumbling around with this post, first time visiting here, first time posting, and I'm still only a rookie at the whole ARG thing.

I was stumbling around tonight when I came across a thread on a board that kinda caught my eye. Why, I don't know. Been a boring night, was killing time. Didn't really read a lot lot of what was going on, and while I wish I could recap what the topic content was, it appears to have been deleted (it -was- on http://sanctuary.prelucid.com/). Anyways, all I got out of it was a picture, like a propaganda poster that I saved cause it had an e-mail address on it:

Well, out of sheer boredom, I emailed them. I've only had a couple interactions with them, and I've kinda been joking around in my e-mails (don't mind it, I'm just being a douche), but it seems like they're pretty responsive. Couple e-mails in, though, and I haven't heard anything else.

So, I'll let you read/judge for yourself.

Have you or any member of your family ever suffered from, or been
treated for, any form of mental illness, insanity, epilepsy, been

That was their initial response after I'd e-mailed them out of curiosity. So, I replied:

What kind of interest group has only 4 members? Shady, but whatever.

I'll number them for your convenience:

1) I have never been fired - my work ethic and history are nearly flawless.

2) I did register for SS; I am not afraid to serve. Service out of patriotism, no - necessity, sure.

3) I have not - the most egregious work conduct I've had was not putting in a 2 weeks notice prior to quitting [due to a sexist manager].

4) Croatia, France, Germany, England, Italy [coming up this May], and Canada (but fuck Canada).

5) I'm not sure how closely this relates to synchronicity (I thought it to be more of a hardcore Deja Vu, if anything), but I've had countless experiences where situations and scenarios I've pictured in my head, or dreamt about, have occurred years down the road, triggering a sort of reverse Deja Vu. I have had countless conversations occur in real life that I'd already experienced in a memorable dream (REM dream, or day dream) years prior.

6) No, my family has never held positions in the government.

7) No, unfortunately, my life is not that thrilling.

Cool Sadly, no, no hallucinogenic drugs - but I'm planning on trying one at some point.

9) Nope - going for my motorcycle license eventually. Does that count?

10) Some, but not of my own accord -- they are usually delinquencies that my parents purposefully neglected due to false claims of debt.

11) I often joke around that I'm a communist because of my Russian heritage, but no, I am not involved in such a way.

12) Born and raised Catholic - I haven't been the most practicing of Catholics, but recently I've become re-involved.

13) If you don't make enemies during your lifetime, it means you stand for nothing.

14) I drink socially. I'll get drunk if I'm up for it.

15) I understand - my work ethic is impeccable.

16) Depression runs deep in my family.

17) Dear God, no. I'm not that fucked up yet.


I left out my personal information in this first response, just to kinda gauge what was going on. Then some banter between us..

I won't bore you with all my tasty personal information, but my final reply just consisted of my phone number, address, and name. What've I got to lose, right?

 		Apparently, uF doesn't like me and logged me out mid-post, hence why I couldn't add the attachment and whatnot. My bad! But I am the poster, so I'll be keeping an eye out. Sorry! Ooh lots of stuff! Some numbers seem to follow me around- like 23 and 17 and 11! I named my email after yours because the 17 stuck with me. And I get deja vu a lot!

My dad used to do something for the CIA, but I never really asked.

There have been a few times in my life where I have dreamt things would happen before they've happened. Usually the dreams are more symbolic of events than an actual event itself. This has only happened two or three times. I guess it could be more coincidence than anything else. Or my brain analyzing a situation and spitting out a logical prediction of what is probable.

Subversive, maybe. It hasn't gotten that far yet, but if need be it is possible it would go that far.

No. I feel that religion inhibits change. I've always believed that spirituality should be a personal thing anyway.

Rarely. My partying days are over. Every now and then I have a few drinks to unwind, but I don't like to partake in things that cloud my mental ability.

 		Did a few searches on "The Nobility", "Noblesse Oblige 179", and "The Quobe Group" but I haven't come up with much of anything.

Did find out that The Nobility is a rock band though.

 		This series of questions sounds a lot like what they ask you when you seek employment in the civil service. In fact, some of these questions are straight off the SF-86 background check form.

Dammit. Sad I was never a good test taker.
