Okay guys here is the text unless I made any minor mistakes:

HAHA MADE YOU LOOK ROBERT SHOULD I SAY LORD IN NOMINATA STOP LOOK AT KIT DOT LY SLASH ANNOMINATA

I tried the URL http://kit.ly/annominata , it says page not found?! Tried "innominata" as well, but no dice. I'm kinda peeved I broke this, got a URL, and there's nothing there. But I got so excited I was a bit shaky, like a total nerd. I double-checked my work but maybe someone else should run it through.

If you want to know how I broke the code, it's a Pigpen, start your first block with "XYZ". I didn't figure out HOW they wanted us to break it, I just looked for patterns and assumed that repeating section might be "LOOK". Actually got that word via trying having the symbols represent numbers in a Pigpen, which then stood for letters via a shift cipher deal... NO idea how I got that to work by coincidence, but figured it might actually be in there.

Wow I've never broken a code before Very Happy

Great work. Once you posted the first part I started working it out also. The URL is

which leads to http://www.flickr.com/photos/63208108@N06/sets/

Fff, serves me for getting excited Wink Thanks for the correction, err... Guest!

Is it me, or is the ARG kinda weird? Hah! If these people were real I'd think it was the most elaborate internet hate mail ever.

Ok I finally decided to register...again. My old account got inactivated (flagusco). I've been the guest here lately. Your only mistake was the K in the URL portion was actually a B since it had the lighter snowflake instead of the darker one. Awesome work!

It's no Flynn Lives but they are doing their best considering they just decided to get on the bandwagon.

It's not a complaint! It's just different. It's actually quite realistic; they've worked very hard to make the fiction very convincing. (Think I might remember seeing your old SN during Flynn Lives. Welcome back to the world of the registered Wink )

Yeah I'm actually enjoying this one quite a bit. It's a heck of a lot more than Marvel did with Thor...

My guess is we'll start seeing some really cool images coming from the Spitzer soon.

Did anyone correlate anything in the underlined text from Dr Waller's post here: http://drwaller.net/2011/05/16/spending-capital/

do, suicide, my, am, want, reason

Other than an obvious cry for help...why underline those words as emphasis?

Amandel: Thanks! :3
Kurraga: Don't think anyone got anywhere with that. I agree it's a bit odd.

I did post some "in character" stuff about this on Bleeding Cool to see if we can get a response from Robert Fraser.

I think we're probably now waiting on Robert's reply and/or Dr. Waller's update about the Spitzer, but did read through the new stuff. Never sure what to put under spoiler cut, so will do that with some thoughts regarding the info at that URL JIC.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
So we have love notes to "Stephanie"… Not really sure where to go with an in-depth analysis of this poor guy's love life! Aside from recurring mention of comets. But will share some info, not necessarily relevant…

"Innominata" just means "nameless". So no idea where they're going with that. Google does not turn up anything related to the ARG; a love poem by the name of Mono Innominata, along the same lines but... also fyi "substantia innominata" is part of your brain.

It's likely just for the sake of the poem, but since proper names stand out…
Cressida is a recurring character in Medieval and Renaissance stories of the Trojan War (including Shakespeare). She's in love with King Priam's son Trolius, but gets Stockholm syndrome when sent to the Greeks as part of a hostage exchange and falls for the Greek warrior Diomedes. She's usually a symbol of inconstant women (nice). Cressida is also a moon of Uranus.

Sir Amadas/Amadace is a medieval English chivalric romance. It features a white knight (not a green one, alas). The poem is definitely related to that source; it uses the term "spendthrift", and there's a character in the romance called the "Spendthrift Knight". Here's the summary from Wiki:
Sir Amadas wastes his property in generosity. Poor, he finds a chapel where a body can not be buried until his debts are paid and spends his last coin to pay them. He meets with a white knight and adventures with him, winning lands, wealth, and a princess. His companion demands the promised half of his reward -- half the princess and their child. When Amadas goes to do it, the knight stops him and reveals that he is the man Amadas buried.

I'm sure I recognize that castle, though it's probably just stock imagery and may have nothing to do with anything. *edit* Knew I'd seen it before. It's Bodiam Castle, built 1385, located near Robertsbridge, East Sussex, England. They probably just thought it was cool (it is), but we certainly have a medieval theme going. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bodiam_Castle
