Do you have a contact email?

I'm going to do it via bleeding cool, since it looks like Waller doesn't surf that site.

if you haven't already, what about doing it via PM? Brian and Ellie have accounts there. Maybe try contacting them privately first, if they didn't shut off PMs.

Might also suggest a secondary account for a public post... just in case there's any question of ticking anyone off. "Secret Policeman"? Wink

I highly doubt the actual "secret policeman" will interfere anymore Wink

Hahah no, I mean use that as a fake SN so they don't know who posted lol. (Because fictional assassins will totally show up at your house otherwise)

Oh I see! I thought you were referring to the guy that tells Waller everything

And I'd be delighted if someone IG visited my house! Razz I even taunted Waller by giving her my address and telling her I wasn't afraid of her.

Wow. You guys are fast. I came home from downtown to look into the email I got and you all had it figured out.

The password doesn't work for me? Does someone have the documents?

Thanks,

Ringslinger.

Yeah, that bugged me! They have different "Pool Member" numbers at the bottom, though. I'm totally guessing here, but maybe that was them sharing the file amongst themselves? I don't know if that's likely, since they seem to be audio transcripts...

Ringslinger- it took me a few times on firefox to enter the password, but it worked after I right-clicked and hit "Reload."
If you would like screen shots, I uploaded them to tinypic here: http://tinypic.com/a/2mfb9/2 Hope this helps! Mr. Green

email reply

i email robert yesterday after we cracked the password here is the reply

We have to be strategic about any action we take using this information, because as soon as Madam knows, she can shut it down in a heart beat. So for now lets not do anything to alarm her, and keep this intel to people we know we can trust. I think the NAG have to lead this next bit, as they're the ones presently in her spotlight. So lets monitor her activities and try and find a subtle way to draw her goonsquad off.

Thanks for the tip. Got it to work with the reload. Those "Budget" numbers I think are UTF-16 Hex codes, but I'm not sure how to decipher them.

quick translator brings this up. But I'm not sure what they mean?

Yeah I think the reload thing was a Firefox glitch, I had the same issue.

Well, that's Chinese... of course my kanji dictionary is... somewhere unknown at the moment, or I could give it a go. Easier than radical lookup online.

Will see if I can find a good online search for Chinese characters...

*edit* characters 2 and 3 aren't loading for me (getting those boxes instead, hate that). First character is "talented" or "urgent"; 4 is "win" (or "gain/profit") and 5 is "sound of a large number of moving vehicles" or "a prison cart".

The way modern Chinese works, they may mean something in combination (a grouping of ideas that conveys another idea, vs. a sentence). Would need the other characters not to glitch. But I'm familiar with Japanese, not Chinese, though if really required I know someone fluent in Chinese.

*edit 2* So I just pulled up the codes themselves, and now I'm getting Latin characters instead of Chinese. Buh? Was that some conversion the forum did? What are you guys seeing

Looking a little bit more the 07C1 unicode returns something called the

NKO Digit One.

http://www.fileformat.info/info/unicode/char/7C1/index.htm

Not sure about that other one. (E2A6) There's a lot of hits for that. But a lot of them seem to be for Chinese symbols.

I could be barking up the wrong tree, but those numbers feel like unicode or hex.

Cheers,

Ringslinger.

Okay, I tried typing the codes into the character palette on my computer. And, if nothing else, they ALL returned results. I don't think that it will display correctly here, so I screencapped it instead.

JIC your browser plays nice:

*edit* w/translation from Chinese, that last character appears to be a bit archaic. Still working on the other two
--- (talented, urgent) (same/together with) --- (win/gain, profit) (sound of moving carriages / prison transport)

*edit again* The fourth character is N'Ko, a script created in 1949 for the West African language Mandekan, which previously had no written form. The exterior box is "sa" (s) and the interior is "en" (n). Still reading up on it since I don't understand how or why they're combined, or what it MEANS lol.

First looks like Braille but has too many dots (vertically), the others are Chinese, except the weird one which I THINK is a number in an Eastern language (looks familiar) but I have to track it down. It looks a bit like the Devanagari numeral 9. The computer says that is a Braille pattern, but I can't find any charts with meanings for ones like that yet.

Nice work. Still don't know if that means anything.

That said there is something known as 8-Dot Braille, but I can't find a meaning for that configuration.

Found it. It's an upside down question mark.

Maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree.

Hahah, we found it at the same time!

The GS-8 Braille apparently was originally for scientific type documents, and it only means um... upside-down question mark in "unified" 8-dot Braille. (Seems to be an ongoing debate about whether or not it should be brought into general usage, some people don't like it, etc. For those who want background on the random stuff in ARGs.)

I'll be darned if I can find any way to translate the N'Ko; still possible, but certainly obscure as all get out.

Maybe the codes mean nothing, or maybe we're using them incorrectly.. don't know. Not sure why they'd have bothered to put them if they had no point, and it does seem like an odd coincidence that they all do mean something. Neutral Dunno.

Wild geese, I like to chase them.
