My therapist says no one is to mention October the First pictures unless I have had my medication.

Spec

Instead of Wongmo re-programming Dina is it possible he was de-programming her just enough for her to remember Jesse? This all seems to center around the powers that be locating Jesse and for that they needed Dina to remember him.

Just some wild spec......

here is some more wild spec...

What if wongmo is actually a person who knows the truth of the Matrix and is trying to free people? I mean think of what he is always saying, "Free your inner dolphin." This seems like saying free your mind in a subtle way. Just spec.

If wongmo is the door to salvation, I'll be sitting on the other side spitting on the people going to salvation..

I do like the idea that wongmo either a) brainwashes folks b) unbrainwashes folks (probably not on purpose)

But alas, this isn't really the thread for that.. we need a good wild random speculation thread..

sorry to go back to this

First Post here folks and I have no idea why I'm doing it!!!! my brain is way too small for this...

so I was just thinking about the clicks in the sound file at 5 seconds and 10 seconds... and I was wondering... is it a 5 second sound file that loops? and if so does that even matter?

Yeah, I noticed those two clicks in the audio track as well. I looked at that those bits very closely, but all I see is standard clipping (ie. there's no interesting data in those sections). I wonder if they correspond to frames in the video that have something interesting in them.

I mentioned the possibility of a visual clue in the .mov file earlier in this thread, but noone seems to be running with it....

Chris.

The video is 10 frames per second, so 5 seconds in is the 50th frame, 10 seconds in is the 100th frame. On the surface, there doesn't appear to be anything special about these two frames.

For what it's worth, here's some pitcures...

BMPs.zip contains these 2 files:
50.bmp - the 50th frame of the video, corresponds to 5 seconds in.

100.bmp - the 100th frame of the video, 10 seconds in.

5seconds.jpg - the audio wave at 5 seconds

10seconds.jpg - the audio wave at 10 seconds

There seems to be a brutus.ypt and brutus2.txt there now.

Edit: Also, brutus4.jpg

Brutus2.txt:

Code:

some of you i have never ever met nor seen.

all i know is the feel of your echo through your words, and your actions.
seeing scratch come into the small clearing, he was instantly recognizable.

he was alone, as well.

more news when we can get it to you.

[edit]

ok, he doesn't know where they are, either.  he's been looking for hours.

Brutus.ypt:

Code:

He Arriveth, Yet Sans Nurturing Duo

The arguing pair recall with a sorrowful tooth
Like Semper Fi in the eye or Michelangelo trumpeting to his member
Quickly it embarked from the front of the vanilla tank.
He was arising himself--he had no choice
The scratch picked up the torn wing and stapled it back on the angel
Never created.. . Never more has been yelped
"Dominate me with your overpowering nose!" Agatha Christie moaned quickly.
From a height high above, the preacher grasped the orange.
Weap bitter tears, blank face, like Caesar.. . Nothing are you, or will you ever be.

So, they had their little encounter...?

What's the significance of the photo? The mother has her eyes closed and the child has his eyes open. Is that supposed to mean something?

It think it could either mean Caesar did find his mother (because both statues look kinda peaceful), or that she's dead...

I am almost certain I have seen this statue once before... it was either in the Villa Borghese (ancient Roman art collection museum) in Rome or in the Museo Vaticano in Vatican City...

I'm pacing through my pictures of Rome, but I have over 800 of them (Rome is kind of my favortie city in the world, so I've been there quite often Smile ) and I'm not sure if I ever even took a picture of it...

I thought maybe the photo meant that they were together. I don't know if that is really supported by the facts, but that's what it made me think of. A happy mother with her son.

Crying or Very sad from the looks of it, it doesn't look good for Dina. I guess that's what happens when you pull that common action movie folly of tripping when you're running for your life... only this time there wasn't an Arnold or Stalone to run back and pick her up and out of danger ;(

sculpture: looks like it's actually from a cemetery, based on how many pictures I've seen of sculptures from cemeteries... the moss growing on it tells me that. I wouldn't say where it's from has any significance, just it's meaning. just a guess, but that looks to me like it'd be on the grave of someone who died from child birth, but that doesn't relate to the game IMHO.

The Brutus.ypt mseeage mentins Michelangelo, so could the photo be a detail from one of his statues? I've looked on a few online galleries, but haven't found anything yet.

Don't know if this has been posted yet, but 'Semper Fi' (in Brutus.ypt) is a contraction of the Latin "Semper Fidelis," meaning "always faithful." I guess no matter what, Caesar is always going to try and find his mother and father (even if she is 'dead'/ taken over by an agent/out of the matrix/wahtever happened to her).

It doesn't look like Michelangelo's style really... also he did mostly or even exclusively sculpt marble, and this isn't. Coudl be some "early work" though, but I doubt it.

Could be, but a lot of similar statues that are in the likes of the Vatican Museum or the Villa Hadrianus are also in semi-open air, so there could be moss on them too... you could very well be right though... it has something... well... morbid... in a way.
