Okay okay, okay. We're suddenly comparing the merits of Joel Schumacher and Christopher Nolan's respective takes on Bane instead of trying to decode and figure out more about who or what ToTheArk is and why they're/it is/are doing what they/it is/are doing.

Welcome to the internet.

Anyway, I have no idea. I haven't the foggiest idea what TTA is trying to do, much less why. I'm not even sure if he's with or against The Operator.

Maybe ToTheArk is just a troll who plays both sides.

Kind of like Clint Eastwood in "For a Fistful of Dollars," where he just plays both cliques against each other until they destroy each other. And then takes all their money.

It's obvious that Hoody is Brian, for so many reasons. I don't have a screenshot but if you look closely at the scenes where Brian is being dragged off camera in the hospital and where Hoody is in Tim's bedroom, Brian has the same sneakers as Hoody. Brian was really close to Alex, which would explain how Brian has so much inside knowledge and footage. Alex even lived with Brian for a time. There was also a big story arc that took place in Brian's old house, which seemed to be abruptly abandoned. Tim told Jay early on that he should ask Brian if he wanted to know more. Brian is referenced constantly but never seen.

And as for the mask, maybe Brian wears the mask because some specific person or persons think he is dead and he wants to keep it that way? He even wears gloves presumably to cover up fingerprints. I would be totally flabbergasted if Hoody was anyone other than Brian.

The shoes that Brian and Hoody had are different. This was discussed and debunked when entry 61 came out.

Oh god. What if Bane is ToTheArk?

We're fucked.

Well then we would actually be able to see a marble hornets version of this video!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOXCdSMaNeE And I would interested in seeing a fight between Bane and Jay.

On a more serious note..I believe Alex must have some involvement with totheark. This whole theory is assuming that TTA is a single person. First of all lets face it, while Marble hornets does think....it doesn't think THAT much. Here is what we know. TTA's first video is in response to Entry 9. Let's put that into perspective. Up to that point the only other characters we have met are Jay, Alex, Tim, Brian, and Sarah. Now, obviously Jay is out. Unless one of these characters are following Jay who could possibly know that Jay is snooping around? Oh wait, whats that you say? To that point Jay IS NOT snooping around. He is simply looking at footage of Alex. What does that matter? The "normal" Tim does not discover the Marble hornets is on youtube until much later. Sometime in the 50's(entries) I believe. Considering he is the masked man and got injured by Alex, and TTA continued to make videos I think we can eliminate him. Jay doesn't know Brian, as Jay points out in entry 15. And while I think personally Sarah would make an interesting and possibly semi plausible TTA, Marble hornets doing so would eliminate the value that a normal movie has in revealing the mysterious character or plot twist. The character is someone we care about. Not someone whom we have seen once or possibly twice. All that being said. Alex is the only person that knows Jay has the tapes. Jay doesn't know anyone else. And I don't think one of the fore mentioned characters would choose to follow or warn Jay unless he knows him personally.

First, in the latest entry of marble hornets (#67) we clearly see Hoody and Alex together in the same scene, thusly eliminating the theory that Alex = Hoody.

Second, viewers of marble hornets have already deduced that Hoody = ToTheArk through entries made on ToTheArk's youtube channel. This means that ToTheArk cannot be Alex.

So, we have already deduced that ToTheArk cannot be Jay, Alex or Tim as they have all been seen in the same videos as Hoody.

But, of you follow the theory that Hoody is Jay from the future, who has somehow managed to travel back in time to warn the past versions of himself about the impending danger of Alex and the Operator, then ToTheArk could infact be Jay.

P.S. sorry if this has confused anyone.

It's also ill-advised to use what Jay says he remembers about the events & people surrounding Marble Hornets, because it's already been established that much of it has been cleared from his memory.

So first things first.

I don't think totheark is a group of people, but clearly, the owner of the account has changed due to the different types of videos posted now compared to older seasons. The very first totheark video was a response to the very first entry with Tim. Other evidence (the weird "S" thing, the closeups of tim, etc) clearly indicates that Tim was the man behind the account.

At some point, totheark's account was hacked. This might seem a little absurd until one remembers how many times Jay's account was hacked. The difference? Jay can get his account back (with effort). This would explain how Hoody was able to become the new totheark.

Now, who is Hoody? I am almost positive that Hoody is Brian. It would make sense that the two who Alex attempted to "take out" at the abandonded building were in some cultish mask/hood group working against Alex. They're intentions are still unknown, but its safe to say they give Jay many answers.

Why then, would Masky and Hoody NOT share the account? that is my only question if this theory was correct.

I believe its because Tim began to heal. He brought himself back to reality, thus the beginning of season 3. Now Hoody is the only one left, and Tim relies on those drugs to not go back to that life.

Can you explain, please, why the "weird S thing" is related to Tim? I do not see the relation.

It was on his shirt the first video we see im in. I don't remember the entry #/am too lazy to check but its the one where Tim and the girl argue with Alex.

And Geneaux, I think its safe to assume he was joking

It took me a while to figure out that you meant that. ::points downward to the pics*::

That's not a stigma -- link here explains more about why I tend to regard myself as a local expert on this, not least of which being that I have one inked onto my body -- on Tim's shirt: the top loop is closed, and the tail goes veering off much too far to the left.

I appreciate that, thank you. The frame in question is much less offensive, now.
