That's not a stigma -- link here explains more about why I tend to regard myself as a local expert on this, not least of which being that I have one inked onto my body -- on Tim's shirt: the top loop is closed, and the tail goes veering off much too far to the left.

I've always thought it was a sigma but I didn't know what it meant. I've studied ancient greek for a year, but I didn't know about the stigma, even if in Spanish we've got the word estigma that has the meaning of mark or "bad fame".

Ok, I've cheked and you have the word "stigma" too.

Maybe your theory is right. It makes sense.
Also, that thing about the "S" in Tim's T-shirt seems a little odd to me. I don't think it has nothing to do with the series plot :S

It's true that stigma and terminal-sigma look very similar. One thing that distinguishes them for me is the sort of upward-swooping "lip" that stigma has on the upper right.

I have a screencap* from "Program" that I've edited to punch up the contrast, since green-on-green was not showing up so terribly well in the original -- it shows the lip I'm talking about.

*(Oh, I know, when don't I have a screencap? This one was really hard to get, though -- the symbol is pretty much constantly moving and distorted.)

Yes, I think I've noticed that "lip" before and that's why it looked as a strange sigma to me. But now I know about the stigma. Thankyou Grumple Very Happy

Now we just need to wait util the guys reveal if the stigma symbol is important (I want to think it is) or just a red herring.

I don't think they are going to reveal anything like they did with the distortion hole. I know you guys hate to jump to conclusions but I like to think it represents Tim in some way, and that was all.

Other evidence (the weird "S" thing, the closeups of tim, etc) clearly indicates that Tim was the man behind the account.

Can you explain, please, why the "weird S thing" is related to Tim? I do not see the relation.

It was on his shirt the first video we see im in. I don't remember the entry #/am too lazy to check but its the one where Tim and the girl argue with Alex.

Guys, it's a monkey that's on his shirt...

Doesn't matter how I squint or tilt my head at the image, I don't see a monkey. All I know is that it isn't a stigma symbol... Confused

I don't remember where now, but there were pictures that show this better. I think that the stigma look-alike was part of the monkey, and you can only tell what it's supposed to be if you can see the whole of the shirt (which you couldn't from the camera angle).

Or something like that. Maybe someone else remembers where the pictures in question were.

Arm is reaching to the left, hand approximately the same height as the head, body goes out of visibility to the bottom right. The shape isn't completely filled in.

OOG in the commentary they talked about the design on his shirt. It's a monkey with a gun, just the angle you can't see it all.
