I think they gave away too much with this water tower clip. It all makes sense now....the nuclear testing in space, the electronics, why the alien is collecting them.

All I'm gonna say is an EMP can damage electronics. I know it was said a long time ago, but this finally confirms it I think. (Hope I'm wrong)

Hahaha. I was actually thinking of that scene from MIB.

Well, this is definitely a wet monster that likes water (given the water tower). I bet the ship runs on something related in the water: hydrogen perhaps?
