This confirms that it's Oct 18th, also.

It almost makes me want to get a Blu-Ray player. But I have an expensive 7.1 system with an HD- DVD player built in.

Super 8 Blu-ray
United States
Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy Paramount Pictures | 2011 | 112 min | Rated PG-13 | Nov 22, 2011 (2 Months)
The forum states: "retail stores say October 18"
I'll ask Santa for a copy.

In light of the upcoming DVD/Blu Ray release I say now would be as good a time as ever to reboot the incomplete ARG...or at least complete the Minker storyline for us (and maybe connect Rocket Poppeteers to the storyline in some minor way other than being signage in the background of scenes of the film). If Dave Baronoff or anyone at Bad Robot reads this...I beg of you! Update revalistic!!!

PS. Does anyone know if the US version is multi-region?

thank you, avr1991
I suppose, the DVD or BluRay will be US regioned, but I have a pretty nice player And even an unplayable DVD, but signed by JJ Abrams would make me happy.

DVD / Blu-Ray Release This is a list of Doctor Who DVD and Blue-ray releases that have either been released or have been announced for release. Unless otherwise noted all dates refer to DVD releases only. With few exceptions (noted below), each of the 'classic series' stories have been carefully restored by the Doctor Who Restoration Team from the best available materials, and are presented as originally broadcast—in episodic format, where applicable. Other features present on every, or nearly every, DVD include cast and crew commentary, subtitles, production notes, and a photo gallery.
