Also looks like the hand over map thing is solved.
And there was a bit of images flashing midway during the clip. But we will have to wait until a higher quality version is up so we can make out if anything is new

JJ did mention that he was going to have to do some extra promotion for this flick due to the fact that it has no big stars and was schedueled to be released in the middle of some big blockbuster summer films. He was worried that it might fall thru the cracks so he has had to do some more revealing ads than he would usually do.//
Sure would like to know what the hell happened to the ARG tho.. Its as if they just turned away from it and decided to focus on advertising instead..
Too bad. Had the potential to be a real fun game.. I cant really believe that JJ actually signed off on this one ... its very un Abrams like..

Isn't "woodward" the name of an american airforce base situated by Rendlesham Forest in the uk? They had a close encounter there some 30 years ago...

Seeing as there is hardly any ARG things out lately, apart from the occasional revalistic update which leads to more questions i dont know if Woodward will even have a meaning...

And i agree, where is Josh, under a month away now, some answers would be nice

It'd be nice to get some kind of action going in the Josh/Sarah/vitas relic/secret company file story.
Maybe we'll get some answers with the movie in the form of a short before S8 starts and/or in some kind of extra if we wait through the closing credits. But that's over 3 weeks away - I could use a little something now.

Agreed. They left us with Alexander Kaslov's death and a warning about the evil tech that was stationed him and Minker Sr. at Area 51. The story had the potential for becoming interesting and exciting, but we are left with no news, no action. I'm left to think that the ARG audience is too small to spend much time on. The Find-A-Clip marketing reaches a much wider audience and and gets written up on all the movie news websites.
Alas, we may be too few in numbers here to be worth a solid marketing and game effort.

IDK about there being too few of us ARG followers to make a difference. We have covered nearly every continent with this game and posts. I think that the advertising budget superseded the ARG budget. The web sites are still up. Maybe the games will crank up after the movie release. Maybe there will be something at the end or during the movie that may give us more clues. Let's face it, the internet did not exist in the 70's. SO if we see something that remotely looks like a URL that may be a clue.... I can only hope that there is more to come. WE'VE been true followers, it would be in bad taste if JJA just left us in limbo with a lame game. Maybe we are all LOST..... Let's face it we are following Josh (Joshua). Do you see any similarities?
