I am still waiting on team placement, wondering if they will still place people at this point.

But in the meantime, I have been looking at the "I know anaconda elicits sluggers" line, and I only have a few ideas at an anagram, so I am still looking for something that seems more concrete. But it isn't the only weird thing about the article. I am looking in to ideas rather than going to work, which is what I should be doing right now Very Happy

The article title itself is a little off to me...the wording just doesn't sit right: "Refugees Hit Unlit Tins" What? Maybe It's just a phrasing I haven't heard before. They also twice reference "dim alleyway" in which "dim" seems a little odd and unnecessary as a descriptor to mention at all, let alone every time they alleyway is mentioned. I'll keep digging around and see if I find anything Wink

I might have missed it, though I think I have looked through everything. Has anyone looked in to nowhere.de ? I feel we're pointed toward this by the most recent article on thecityjournal that's already been mentioned...linking back to the http://www.cityjournalpost.com/colefusion-quiet-on-recent-vandalism previous article about same thing...in the comments, there is the note from Andrea Winterspoon, who is a character on the Stop3Points side...nowhere.de is put in as her website. I translated it from German and it seems to be directing you to an iPhone and Android app for communications. What do you guys think about this? Smile I just thought since they linked back to the article again, it might be a "hey, look at this" kind of thing.

I have been known to read waaaay too much in to things though Wink

I decided this was fail after looking in to it more closely Razz

I wondered that too, but why did an in-game character put it in as their web address, which you have to manually enter? Also, could this have to do with the "nein" connection? I think nein is German ?

It's a bit of a stretch, and the site did seem OOG to me too, I just can't imagine why they put it in if it was irrelevant. I'm weary to sign up for it anyway due to the user agreement.

Edit: On second thought...I think you're right and I went off on a tangent there...haha

It links to nowhere.com now. Which incidentally doesn't exist. So definitely not a clue.

There's a million possible anagrams for the anaconda string, unfortunately; it's really long. Knowing the context or a containing word or even how many words we're looking for would really help. If it's an anagram at all, of course.

A few days ago I wrote to the stop 3 points address that was reflected in the article on the City Journal Post.

I just got this email from stop3pointsSPLATgmail.com:

We've been wondering when you would contact us.
We've taken something important. Can we mail it to you?

Yipee Kurraga! Hoping we'll both get a piece of intel as this was in my inbox:

Amandel, you discovered us moments too early. Welcome.

Will you receive a piece of mail on our behalf? It's important.

Had been anagramming that "anaconda...etc" phrase with Declan Cole but nothing popped. Maybe the prompt word is secrets from the vid?

After my application for Colefusion was denied I emailed thenewcaraSPLAThomtail.com:

Quote:
Cara,

It has come to my attention one of you may have been trying to get hold of me. I've been denied entry into the Colefusion hiring program and the response received was less than heartwarming. I want to know what's going down at Colefusion...I suspect they are up to no good but I can't prove it yet.

What can i do to help you and your people?

The response I got just now was:

Quote:
Hi,
Sorry about your luck with CF. Believe me, it's a blessing.

No, I wasn't trying to contact you.

Best of luck

Cara

So, not really sure what role she plays yet but definitely in game.

Actually it's funny, I'm noticing a bunch of little things they did to distance themselves from it being set in Montreal (if that is where the game is being run).
Like in the article http://www.cityjournalpost.com/transit-costs-to-skyrocket/

They talk about the subway. Nobody calls it a subway here.
And they said the cost would be $5. The French way of writting currency is 5$, most people write it that way here without realizing.
If you look at the comment below the article, an NPC wrote 200$.

I realize this is not advancing the game at all, it's just an iteresting side note.

Watching the video once again, here's what I found.
On the videos, the first 2 codes are taped right next to 2 graffitis, the first one reads BERTHA, the second one JESO.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/rough_neck/5618820885/sizes/o/in/photostream/

That's the location where they shot the video. The photostream is called "Montreal Writing" and the small amount of car licence plate I can see seems right to me (I live in Montreal).
I left a comment on the flickr, I'll see if I can get the address, because there's nothing of use in the EXIF data...

Edit : ahah, Christien, we're almost neighbours Smile

Originally I though it might have been the small parking lot across the street from Complex Dejardins, but looking at the picture it looks more like a residentail area. Like somewhere in the plateau.

Hey melka, I'm sure we'll meet at the next Colefusion board meeting or 3points protest rally...

So, Cara just emailed me back. The email I had sent her was asking if she knew why I was deemed 'risky' by ColeFusion, and if I could help her.

Her email:
Quote:
AgentVerne, I think for now we wait.

As for your riskiness, it's not in who you are but what you are. Our kind aren't welcome there... Sad

Cara

The underlining is present in the email.

Question is, what am I and what is 'our kind' and why aren't we welcome?
