Ok. So right now it seems as if there's three different goals we should be having:

1) Finding and allying with the next "resistance group" out there.

2) I don't know if it's still going on, but the Colefusion Environmental Logos thing is most likely important.

3) Figuring out the significance of the evidence Kate lost her life to get to us.

I haven't been following #2, and I don't really know where to begin with on #1, but maybe something will happen in the CJP soon? I do have some ideas about #3, however...

This is largely conjecture at this point... we don't have any hard evidence right now. But let's examine the circumstantial evidence we have so far, shall we?

Exhibit A) Any group that seems to be raising their hand against Colefusion seems to be vanishing. However it happens, it's done so completely that either they're literally erased/rewritten in history, or at the very least any evidence of their former involvement is erased.

Exhibit B) There are a few exceptions to Exhibit A: Andrea Witherspoon became a Colefusion employee, for example. TheNewCara and this "Eve" seem entirely unaffected by this, for lack of a better word, "shifting" that keeps happening along with the countdown, and as our little Interloper ParadoxPapers pointed out, some finer details seem to be left behind in odd places (See the "Stop3Points" picture on the car waaay back at in the CityJournalPost at the start of this whole schebang, although that may be gone now)

Exhibit C) Virgil Blackstone, for whatever reason, wasn't "shifted" like everyone else that's been against Colefusion. I have two possible theories for this: the first is that he was just considered too erratic to be taken seriously. Even Kate noted that his ideas seemed a bit "out there", and aside from what he's said we really haven't seen much of a religious theme on this ARG so far. The second possibility is that there's something about him that prevents whoever is doing all this "Shifting" from doing it to him and events around him. (There's not really much leading me to believe theory 2, except the odd feelings Virgil described as having around the Grey Man, which could be a number of things.)

Exhibit D) The most compelling bit of evidence we've found so far was from the ColeHardTruth people... the login info we got from that Cell Phone revealed an audio file which implied that 3Points technology somehow was carrying information from future points in time into the present point of time. As I've suspected and mentioned before, I strongly believe this is somehow allowing Colefusion to find out about future events while in the past, and take measures to "remove" them. It's not the most perfect theory, it doesn't explain things like the stuff ParadoxPapers pointed out, which I can't be sure wasn't intentional on the puppetmaster's part. But it's my working theory at this point, given what we've seen of this game, and the references to that movieish thingy we saw was linked to it before.

All this is leading me to a hypothesis... this Grey Man is somehow serving as Colefusion's eyes and ears to identify resistance groups or other undesirables, and then is somehow feeding them in the past information to get them to take steps to weed them out. Kate likely wasn't even much of a threat, but she took special notice of this man and then she was made to vanish because of it. While this conjecture is shaky and I don't have a lot of validity for it yet, I just have a hunch that it's something in the right direction. The "Strongest coffee" thing might might MIGHT be some sort of code that "drastic action" needs to be taken, although I'll be the first to admit that there's no evidence for that currently.

The other alternative is more mundane: Colefusion is making people "Vanish" and then hushing it up somehow. Aside from Cara we haven't really checked to see if other elements of Resistance were aware of each other... ColeHardTruth didn't seem to know about Stop3Points, but beyond that I don't know if we've ever ASKED any of the other resistance groups if they've known about one another. Maybe just maybe it's a lot more mundane than my preceding hypothesis would assert.

To spark a discussion, Z, & am curious about all our ideas. For me Declan Cole with the help of Section 9 remains the antagonist having knowledge of the future. Personally, have NOT linked him to the Grey Man who does seem temporally "out of sync". Key to those murdered & those who remember is the post mortem abuse.
