I have a few questions for the knowledgeable members.

What is the red cosmos? on every rocket poppeteers article, i hear about the threat of the red cosmos. what is this threat?

What does the coelicanth fish have to do with anything? how is this related to the plot?

How does rocket poppeteers play into this whole thing?

Thanks!!!

I am far from a knowledgeable source, but I'll help how I can.

Red Cosmo is the villain to Cpt. Coop. I could be wrong, but he seems to be a representation of Russia back during the cold war era.

The Coelacanth is a rare fish that Josh Minker was hoping to one day own. More can be found at http://www.hooklineandminker.com/ for the Josh Minker back story. It is not related to Rocket Poppeteers as far as I am aware.

Rocket Poppeteers is sorta like Slusho in JJ Abrams other works. It is strictly a fictional aspect that may or may not have anything to do with Super 8. Most likely it will have a brief on screen cameo, maybe one of the kids buy one or we'll see an add for them.

Hope that helps a little bit, sorry if it doesn't.
