Slender Man Weakness?
Yeah, yeah, it's a stretch. But is it worth something?

After going though the entries again, and watching Signs, a weird thought popped into my head: Slendy is harmed someway by water.

For Entry 17, bluelantern03 made a speculation that Slenderman is somehow connected to water. The tape freezes right after Tim has a sip.

In the Broadcast video (response to Entry 35), the video is either filmed from underwater (unlikely but possible) or in a reflection. Slendy is standing by.

I'm probably wrong, but this idea can't get out of my head. Your thoughts?

Valid speculation, but this would go best in the Season II discussion thread. Happy posting!

Shut up, not everything needs to be shoved into the Season 2 thread. This is a unique thread that doesnt pertain to the season 2, it's worthy of it's own topic.

As for this, it makes sense. there's certainly some kind of connection, but i'm not sure it's so much a weakness as it is an association, much like the trees.

Then again, he also seems to be associated with fire in some way. So i really have no clue.

Hehehe. "It's a stretch." Like the trees.

I'll just show myself out...

Read what he said again. It doesn't pertain to season 2. It includes season 1 and 2.

Is this a message board or a Concentration Camp? I can't really decide sometimes.

Interesting theory, but I believe we'd need to know some more information on Slendy before. Has he ever been sighted around water?

90% of you appear to not realize that the Season Two discussion thread is for general discussion entirely, it's only called season two, because we're currently IN season two.

If you have a one-off post that will only result in maybe one or two genuine replies, or just "yeah I agree with that", then it should go in the general discussion, which just happens to be named for season two.

If you have something that you think is worth a genuine discussion, by all means make a new thread.

Ok, enough with the DONT MAKE NOO THREDS U GUYS!!! shenanigans--it's not like we're running out of internet to write on.

Slenderman's real weakness is that he can't accept $50 Bills.

I've been seeing a lot of "This goes in the Season 2 Discussion Thread" posts lately, interestingly not made by actual moderators. Anyway, the thread about how to kill Slenderman has been inactive for over a month, not on the front page either. Sure, the guy could have used the search feature (and probably should have), but either way only one thread of this nature is active, so is it really so bad?
As for the Season 2 Discussion thread, it almost seems redundant and unecesarry on a forum that's completely dedicated to discussing Marble Hornets. Sure, it helps to condense certain overlapping topics into one thread, but even that benefit becomes diminished if we condense every single possible talking point related to season 2 into it, then it just gets confusing and crowded.
If your reasoning is that threads should only be made if they can start a long discussion, at least give it a few days before you judge that it can't. Just because you don't have a lot to say about a subject doesn't mean nobody else will.
Like I said, I can see why a season 2 discussion thread would be useful, but I think we would all do well to be a little less picky, especially where new members are involved.

I am sooooo sick of wannabe moderators directing people towards that damn S2 discussion thread all the time! This is a perfectly valid thread and could actually have a decent discussion if some people weren't all "OMGADZ NOO THRED MUST LINK TO S2 DISCUSHON THRED TO KEEP FORUM FRAM GETTING MESSAE LOL DERP!"

We might as well just get rid of the MH section all together and keep the discussion on the series to one single thread.

There's a thread dedicated to discussion on how to defeat the operator. It's the thread I linked but no one bothered to check.

I saw it, and had that been linked to first I wouldn't have minded. It's just the fact that so many mini-mods think they're being helpful by trying to herd all discussion into that one damn thread when they're just being irritating.

The thread you linked to I'd say is fair game, but I don't blame anyone for going ahead and making a new one since that one hasn't been posted in in over a month. Some forums are, believe it or not, hard on necroposters so it can be hard to judge what forums are ok with it or not.

I'm sick of wannabe mods period (contains 2 e's and an n).
As for the discussion the OP was trying to start, I read somewhere, i think on the EMH wiki, that Slendy's weakness might be an axe. Different game, yeah, but who knows? The topic of conversation is now relevant again.
