YES. Very odd preview. Had an odd thing for the name (it was literally a sepia background with The Dark Knight Rises on it). And at the end, it played the sound on loop that led us to the twitter. I almost squealed like a little girl when I heard it.

The things that it showed didn't really show much. I don't remember much else, its about three at night/morning, and I'm running off of what is remaining of a caffeine rush.

Edit: Same as the bootleg posted, though.

I managed to record the trailer at the HP7p2 midnight showing tonight. I didn't hear the chanting at the end, though, because the whole theater started cheering and applauding at the title card. That's exciting. Very Happy

Even more exciting...my Liam Neeson obsession is fed another day!

I'm starting to wonder if the "chant" has more to it than giving away the hashtag. I mean like, having a place in the movie.

I was at the midnight showing of the HP7.5 premier, and I kept my eyes peeled for anything related to an ARG. I didn't see anything particularly suspicious, but I think that's due to lack of experience more than anything else.

Anyways glad to be on board.

Update: thedarkknightrises.com has been updated. Now showing links on the bottom of the page to the usual suspects (terms of use, privacy policy, Rolling Eyes

) and links to a Facebook page to watch the trailer. Clicking on the picture no longer does anything, rather there is a link that will take you to the same .jpg as before.

As for the trailer, I went back and watched it and it does indeed have the same audio file as the one from the trailer.

Gosh, I hope I don't miss out on any new developments with this ARG like I did last time with The Dark Knight's ARG.

It took some listening to make out what Gordon was saying, but I believe he's saying

" We were in this together...but then you were gone...Now this evil..rises..The Batman...has to come back.."

Bruce: "What if he doesn't exist anymore?"

Gordon: " He must...he must..."

It seriously sounds to me like Gordon's dying in that part. Perhaps an attack from Bane? Or something else?

And I'm wondering what the significance of the crumbling buildings is. I know that in Knightfall, Bane released all of Arkham's inmates to cause chaos in Gotham and simultaneously wear Batman down. It might be related.

Batman does look rather worn down in the last image of the teaser.

I can't translate the chanting at the end. I did record it and put it into audacity and "Spectrum"ed it, but no words appeared. It looked somewhat like a fire, I guess, but that may be owing to youtube reducing the sound quality. I don't know if Audacity regularly does that.

Well, this'll be interesting. I missed out on most of the Dark Knight ARG, sadly, so I'd like to be part of this one. Most recently I was in on the Super 8 ARG, so I've been itching for a new one.
