Well I'm about 99.5% it's fake but still it looks super awesome and somebody should be getting a job offer from Digital Domain.
This pleases the Jane because it means that the fanbase it out there being active and creative. Plus it's got SARK !

Now that sounds like an interesting plotline for the next installment. Though it could use more Flynn.
Or at least it could work as a side story.
Heck, just give us more
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
stuff from the Grid entering the real world, that really made the ending of Legacy all the more awesome.

It's definitely fan-made, but it's impressive none-the-less.

very cool to finally see this last link on GT got deleted.
although its cool would have loved to see someone run into the light trail in the end. would love to see dillenger come back even if in a supporting role or cgi retro role.

Hopefully Disney will let them put it back up with a big fat disclaimer saying it's fan made, because it was quite impressive. It'd be a shame if it was gone forever.

Just get onto the grid and you will see it for yourself....
Wait, you don't have one of those aperture thingies lying around?
Just search the net....... its out there becasue I just watched it.
Too bad movies made today are all about bottom line dollars and not about art
This clip has some cool production value, a tiny bit of a good story and I am sure it did not cost an arm and leg to make and has to return $$$$$$
Hopefully, Disney et al will make another go at Tron in a few years. If they keep the budget low, fully develop a good story, move away from Tron 2.0 (which was the basis for a lot of this movie in my opinion) and don't have 100000000 free screenings prior to the actual release date, then it should be a win-win.... (I will climb off my soapbox now)

Anyone have a copy of Tron Destiny? It was tiding my Flynn Lives withdrawals with a small dose of Tron goodness!

(and an excerpt so i can comment)
Quote:
Adam Horowitz and Adam Kitsis, who worked on Legacy, were slated to return but got waylaid by Once Upon a Time , the fairy tale show they created for ABC and is debuting this fall. The vacancy allowed DiGilio to slide in with a take that would build on the first two movies.
But part of the decision to ultimately move forward on a third movie may rest on the performance of Tron Uprising, the animated show which will air on Disney XD next year.
My predictions:
1. "Once Upon a Time" will fail miserably and be cancelled after
four
three episodes.
2. Disney is delusional if they think anyone has access to whatever channel "Disney XD" is, and are setting it up for failed ratings if they don't also reair it on basic cable.

well if David DiGilio does get the writer position, i'll keep my fingers crossed. hes written 2 other things which he was also the producer and i haven't hear of either of them. not to mention it sounds like the guys doesn't believe there will be a Tr3n.
Hopefully Sean Bailey can lead Tr3n to great things... hopefully.

Its been a while since I first saw it, but this version seems better than the first (disclaimer, less obtrusive music, credits, etc.)
