Not sure if this has been brought up yet or not, but it might not be a bad idea to get net support people on a voice chat program like teamspeak / ventrilo / etc... we need everyone on the same page - not just locally, but as across the country; progress made in one city could provide clues for another, and being able to organize and share that information in real-time would definitely be to our benefit.

Another thought, going with the 5 theme... possibly somewhere in the Little Five Points district in Atlanta?

Just thought of something... how are they selecting the volunteers to be given phone instructions?

It must be either:
a) based on city listed as where you live; all get instructions, only one gets drop
b) the iris will open at 2PM and the first to select that city is the appointed volunteer.

A seems like a bad choice, since it doesn't take into account people who live in suburbs, or availability of players. I'm kind of leaning towards B functioning like getting screening passes; you put in your username and your city, and then receive texts.

Could be a potential wrench in the gears, since you'll want to be at a computer at 00 and THEN be able to go to the location. (Though if only one person gets instructions, it's not really a "race". I'm guessing however that you reg for your city, THEN race to follow clues fastest.) Depending on how they thought this out, it could be a big freakin' wrench...

I think the three closest drop points to me are still at least five hours away, so I'd love to be Internet support for anyone who needs it. I have contacts in Chicago, Dallas (and Houston who could tell me about Dallas), and a couple in Cali. Unfortunately my DC contact is out of the country.

But anyways, I'll have a fast computer, fast phone, and Skype access on both. Texting and phone calls wouldn't be a problem for me.
