Royce - if you still need internet support, I have someone who could do it at around 1 your time, and I'd be willing to help until then.

Also, someone asked who the competition is - I have no idea, but I'm gonna do some recon of various blogs and stuff, look at Google and see who's posted about going to various cities. If Arg.net has a forum, can someone check that?
Still supplying support for me as well?

Yep! And for Vegas as well. *rubs hands* I'll have access to two computers and I'm not afraid to use them. *cackle* I'll also have Skype up and running for once.

Looks like no love for Toronto this time Sad
Will have sit back and watch while this plays out...

That said - anyone feel like live-streaming a video feed from their city on Thursday? I can set up a video/feed/chat hub on 4dfiction.com (as I've done in the past) for those interested in watching it play out Smile

Hi everyone,

I'm dropping out of lurkerdom to say that I'll be on the ground in Boston on Thursday. It'll be my first time on the ground during one of these, so I would love some support!

california is looking like I will not be on the ground until 12:15-12:45
Bang Head so I will be on then, possibly meeting up with user then. Someone with experience: does this usually end in 15 minutes or half an hour or an hour or more?

I should. I'll have to check, and I'll let you know if I don't. If I can't, then I'll just text you or something.

No way to tell. That would ruin the fun too Razz But usually they're maybe 20-40 mins depending on how much running around. IIRC, if it's longer than that, it's implied people on the ground will be there for a while, like a significant event. If it's just a quick 'go here, get stuff, go there, maybe there too' then it's effectively a quick dash in and out (depending on how friendly you want to play with others who might be there as well Smile )

It's probably nothing but I saw someone post something about a millennium TV show or something. Then someone else posted something about a millennium stage and in Orlando we have a millinia mall... was/is a real shot in the dark.

It was my fault, along with some former chicagoans. Basing it on possible locations.

Oh I have no problem with guessing! I was just a little bit confused as to where the idea originally came from. Even if it doesn't end up taking place at those locations, still some interesting thinking

I was just thinking of locations to cross reference in these cities such as Millennium or Wrigley. It was just a thought.
