Hello ya'll, I'm in on this one, and wanted to bring you some more info. I was at Bonnaroo this last weekend, and before Arcade Fire came on set Friday night, about a half dozen para-gliders started circling over the crowd. It was after dark, and all of the para-gliders released trails of hundreds of blue and purple blinking lights behind them. It looked really cool actually, like the trail tinkerbell leaves in Disney promo's. Anyway, the blinking lights fell into the crowd, and it turned out that there were LEDs attached to plastic strips designed to helicopter down.

So your probably wondering how this is related. The plastic strips had a wasp on them, the words "Mission Icefly", and a QR code that links to:

http://missionicefly.com

missionicefly.com has a countdown timer set at about 16 days from now (the end of the month if I'm not mistaken), and a link to testsubjectsneeded.com. So I think the timer is definitely related to the start of TSN. I will post some images of the LED copter as well.

ps. I'm really hoping this is ilovebees part 2, that is the only other ARG I played, and it was glorious. This one has to be pretty cool, I mean, para-gliders dropping swarms of LEDs, that is just awesome!

Brilliant update!

Seems to me that they're trying to pull people in from all over on this one. I'll be keeping my eye out for anything that looks like promotion over this side of the pond, but I don't hold by breath too much.

That stunt must've cost a fortune, which bodes well for the scale of the game if nothing else.

Keep waiting for something in the post, but nothing yet...

EDIT: I've been having a bit of a play with the mission icefly site. The flying insect will run away from your cursor if you get close to it. It flies in an interesting pattern... I can't decide if there's a message in it, somehow. I have to go out now, but I'll leave it with you all to see if you can make anything of it and look at it more when I get back in later.
