Are the flies only on Limited Edition packs or on all packs?

So far, the only luck I have had is with the Limited Edition, but there are some LE that do not have them. Also others have found other non LE that have them.

My constellation keys light up, but it still tells me that I have 3 available...any thoughts?

Do you still get a key if you click on the icon? Maybe the keys activate the constellations.

I went to my local Wally World, and after looking through over 1700 packs of gum, not a single icefly appeared. The best-by dates ranged from April 2011 through August 2012. (Yeah, some of them were pretty dusty. >_<)

From what I've been talking on fb about with their discussion. It looks like the new shipments all have flies on them. Especially the 2012 expiry date vortex packs. Guess we have to wait for new gum to be put out.

I only found them in one small section at the moment, so they probably still have to be circulated. Even when clicking on the key after it is illuminated,Ii still cannot get anything. Perhaps you must get all the constellations?

...Hey guys the more i look at this... the more i see...

Assassin's creed.

the 'architecture', the pale cyan glow, and now the techy lines etched into the 'key' seem like something from those who came before, or Abstergo.

thoughts?

You know, this whole running around and buying stuff to get keys and whatnot to progress... kinda feels like a Zynga game.

Anyone seen the icefly gum package in the UK?

Enough with the procrastination, bring on the mastication!

phone calls?

Has anyone that opted in received phone calls? I received a call yesterday, around 3pm PST, from an 866 number, but I missed it and it didn't leave a message. I was just going to ignore it, but I saw the same number on one of the pages from the NIN Year Zero campaign. (For reference, it's 866-445-6580, the number that used to be for the Bureau of Morality.) Calling it just yields a message stating you have reached a non-working number..

X-Men?

Hi everyone!

This whole stuff might be "misguided", but I think the storyline so far is very similar to X-Men.

First, there are some small children with unusual abilities. (Heightened Sensory Perception instead of being Mutants.)

One child has burnt down the family house. (Such accidents often happen with young mutants who hasn't yet learned to control their abilities.) He/she cannot be blamed for it, because it was an accident, so he/she's "blameless".

The movie shows them as youngsters and also as adults. (Just like in X-men, when there is Jean Grey as a small girl and Xavier and Magneto visit her.)

There is this Traelek Institute and Hiltrecht Academy that are similar to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters

And finally there is this sympathetic bald guy who is a scientist and teaches at the institute!

http://coachella.5gum.com/?utm_source=5gum.com&utm_medium=domain&utm_campaign=2011_coachella

every part of it is spinning now, and this is obviously the facility , wish we could open the 4th door with a key XD

anyone else notice how the middle floats like the container at the end of the clip floated in between Terry O's hands?

so, 3 keys, possible 10 more? so pretty soon the website will prob have a Virtual game that we get to open doors, some might have mini-games for another key(prob will need) while others will have traps(wasted a key). and at the end (it will probably give us a new clue/finish the QR code) that's what im guessing anyways

and the virtual game (or w.e we use the keys for) will start (we might have to find it(QR might lead to it)) when the timer runs down

Yep, actually that is ref'd when you call the institute. You dial and then hit, 786, it ref's Exhibit24.net- which I later learned, after a small freak out which we shall not talk about- was NIN.

Like another user said, the call is old. It's part of 42E's other old ARGs and unrelated to this. The breakdown of the phone tree discoveries are somewhere in the Traelek topic thread.

At this point, spec outside of the spec thread is just distracting from the work we're trying to do in this thread. Not trying to be harsh, just suggesting you post it there. FWIW Hallelujah is a pilot and was not picked up. And that's not the sign for Illuminati he's doing, it's a surfer/HI thing. It's called "shaka", and especially in Hawaii it's used to represent the "aloha spirit".

Changing topics from old news, have we settled at this point that the "paper token" stuff is the one-time use codes from the (paper) gum packages?

That makes sense, except that I have trouble believing there's no puzzle to be solved in this information we've been given.

I ran some of the images through steganography sites, and did get a few letters/numbers. But I was using an online one, and think it might have been an artifact of some kind. Does anyone have software they can run it through to double-check?

(I'm going to double-post this in the Traelek thread, since it's gum chatter all over and hard to say the best spot to discuss.)
