Nothing for me yet. I don't even know if they'll post something to the UK. Guess I'll have to wait and see.

It seems like Chrome/silver is winning out.

Got mine sometime in the last few days (I've been off running a relay race). I got a black envelope. Nothing seems different than the pictures that have already been posted.

That ribbon thing has a piece on it that emits a bright blue light on and off. It doesn't seem to be morse code and I have no idea how to decode the thing on the bottom right of the ribbon. Help?

You mean the QR code? I just scanned your's, and it's the same. It leads to the Mission IceFly website.
Also, out of boredom, I took the light apart, It's using two small washers and two 3v CR927 batteries. A little odd to use a different battery then what the unit was designed for. It may be to allow for longer use? I dunno, just an observation.

today I also received mine in a silver package... I like the "honeycomb" aspect - plays into the bee type feel.
Also, I think this is the first ARG swag I've ever got in the mail... very cool to open the mailbox and know instantly that that a return address of "the Human Preservation Project" was because I was a "test subject".

While we're on the subject of audio, the background sound for the "Mission Icefly" site seems to have some interesting clicking sounds in the background, they are low volume and sound a bit like typewriter keys. I can't figure out how to get just the sound file, but someone who knows more about such things might have some luck with it.
Use audacity to record the PC audio as you load up the site. screencap software may record live browser sound too? G

I think there will be. Why else would we have had to put our picture in for our badges?
They probably need a while to print all of them out, while it doesn't take too long to send out the little flycopter when they probably have hundreds of them

too bad I was a little too afraid to upload my picture. I just used a logo for my favorite sports team.
Now I'm wishing I would have made it correctly.

Has anyone looked at the LED lights from both the black enveloped copters and the silver ones to compare? I got a silver envelope in the mail days ago and I looked at the LED light and thought "This looks inexpensive." Then I was lead to the video and the copters that were dropped at least looked like they had better quality (bigger/brighter) LED lights on them. Now, given, I only turned mine on in a bright living room and stuck the tab back in to preserve the battery, so maybe I didn't see the real brightness of it (haven't played with it since... It's back in the envelope), but the black enveloped copter that was pictured in here looked like it had a bigger light. Just an observation. I could be off.

Hey guys, just popping in to give a bit of information i just found out. I went to testsubjectsneeded.com on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and it took me to a mobile version of the site. Not sure if anyone has found this yet or not, if so sorry, but it leads to a different site/intro page.
