Just found out about this 10 minutes ago, so sorry about this question, but, have we determined that it is about chewing gum?

Seems a bit useless to have an entire ARG for.

I think our best answers to this came from ohwellmaybenot and Aesculapius on this page: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=32383&start=45.

So the clock says it's going to unlock at 3 on the 30th for me.
This is actually my first ARG so Tell me if I do anything wrong. Are we supposed to be getting free stuff from this or something?
I honestly have no idea what's going on other than missionicefly is locked until next Thursday.

It may be a GMT CD clock (Greenwich Mean Time Count Down). Meaning that you are in a different time zone, but the overall time is set at a specific point in time.

OH SHI- BLUE!?!? What the hell? Now a new color in the mix. Two things, any changes in the contents? Did you receive one of the calls?

Was I dreaming or was there a report of an orange one, too?
Oh crap, what if the colors are a code? BSB (or possibly BSOB if the orange envelope wasn't a dream.)

EDIT:
My friend (who is over at my house ATM) just joined and got these results.

I'm positive that you're reading waaaaaaaaaay too into it there.

Also, I'd love to see a picture of the blue envelope, was the message the same as everyone else's?

Oh, it might be that if one section of the graph at the end of the test is bigger than the others, you might get that color in the mail. Or might not, because people are getting blacks and silvers. Anyway, keep a look out for other colors like yellow, green, or red.

I think at that point I was still convinced it may have something to do with TDKR, hahaha. The phrase test subjects needed has appeared on recent TV spots for 5Gum (and their ads are centered around "test subjects" and the ads that led to this are 5Gum ads.)

Also while searching for the proper TV ad to support this, I found this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wUX7c6VbPvE - While we are kind of all like "OMG, gum? Not Batman or Halo?" It would seem that Wrigley/5 Gum is no stranger to the concept of viral marketing.

Also, nobody has mentioned is that black and silver are both colors on the 5 Gum Coblat LE package in the original ad. So is blue for that matter. http://a3.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/254334_2024565341471_1464124020_32300073_7436427_n.jpg (The ad I am referencing.)

I'll try to dig up the video link that I'm thinking about that shows this...

Well whatever it is I'm in.

Googled Human Preservation Project and one of the links I found links to an article confirming that 42 Entertainment are running this one.

Registration is a bit odd. It says Post code which is more British than Zip.
It'll be interesting if I get any post from this one.

I have my doubts as to whether the promotion is still going on in Australia and New Zealand, as was stated in my third post on this page: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=32383&start=255 but no one replied (at least to my knowledge, correct me if I'm wrong) from those two countries to say whether or not they could still participate. Anyone?
This was covered two weeks before you first posted about it. (link)
Basically we get the same "promotion closed" message that you saw.

Personally I'm more interested to see what new directions the 5Gum campaign will go in now that 42 Entertainment is at the helm. Just imagine what stories they could tell without being constrained by an existing movie plot.
