ok, ok I thought that based on the previous posts, the general assumption was that they were linked. Well, I can tell 5-gum is involved, and the react thing talks about a black package. This is my first ARG and i started today, so if someone wanted my help, I could use some backround info. Maybe a blog post link?

Razz sorry about noobisness

also, I am sorry, but I still think 5-gum is way too connected to not at least be a sponsor. And I will hold that belief. But I would love to be proven wrong. Anyway, I'm with you now.

Yeah, well, I click on that door to the right and Facebook opens up and says the app is either invalid or removed or some schmitt like that. It doesn't work. On the Facebook page it says 'Only valid in the US and Canada' but then after viewing the video and leaving to the 5react site, it says 'Only available in Australia and New Zealand' at the bottom left... what gives?

I'd be lying if I said I haven't been waiting to do this for the first time, but Trout http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=32383&start=255 (scroll to the third post of mine on the page)

And the best part...I got trouted on the exact same thing. http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=32383&start=420 (first post of mine)

Thanks punxtr for fulfilling one of my ARG dreams. =P

I already know that... I thought this new guy was able to get that link working, so I described everything that didn't work for me.

The 5react.com says "Access with your code."
Does anyone have a code yet? Is it on the envelope/shipping label, the slip of paper or the helicopter? I don't know where to look.
I currently doubt the silver/black "teams" idea and am guessing, MAYBE all of our ID badges will arrive in a black envelope and our code will be with that.
Assuming of course 5react.com and the Human Preservation Project are related, which I am still doubtful about. Wait and see I guess.

With some googling, I found this:

http://www.qr-decoded.com/qr-codes/human-test-subject-engagement

Unless it's faked, it does have the same bee, same QR, and the same site. I'm guessing advertising it on their posters wasn't effective enough so they switched to the anonymous way.

Sup everyone. Just came to say that I live in the UK and received my black package today.
This is my first ARG and hopefully it's a big one! The fact that they are sending packages internationally is surely a good sign

Also got mine yesterday! Chrome envelope.

So I was trying to figure out if there's something to the images on the LED/"twist" band. If you turn one leg upside-down and leave the other one alone, the parts of the circle line up. For me that seems like a weird and very specific design decision, but I can't make any sense of it.

And on the image of the bee creature, the circle is the same part of the bee's anatomy where the LED is located on the strip... or at least that's how it was in my package. Maybe there's some significance to that part of the bee's body, maybe online or somewhere else?

I don't know if this description is clear at all. I was just playing with my new toys for a while last night and wound up wondering about these things.

Also, the texture of the riddle-page paper is really, really weird to me...

Yay! Great to see that they also ship stuff to Europe Very Happy

One question though :
Did anyone who got a package only sign up on the TSN website or did you all also apply on the 5gum-page ?
Just asking because I only applied on the TSN page and did not get my envelope yet.

I'm in the UK and still don't have one. Sigh.

Maybe tomorrow?
