Currently I'm trying to see if the missing letters are consistent in the message (ie; if it's a hangman situation and letters are appearing like they would in Jepoardy) but nothing so far... I'm not just going to assume the location part is correct, gotta look at all angles!

I stared at this post for a good minute super confused and realized you meant Wheel of Fortune and not Jeopardy. Glad to know I'm not the only person who occasionally switches the two in conversation.

Oh! Doh! Well aren't I a bit silly! Embarassed
Hope you don't think too little of me over it!

In other news, I think its pretty clear based on the updates that the method I'm working probably wont bring forth any fruit. Letters that were available beforehand appeared in the update. With that said I am gonna work and see what the likely-hood is of letters appearing based on what appeared what words they were added to and what sort of pattern they use. If its all random it wont amount to anything but if it is decipherable, I'll find it some time tonight... I hope!

EDIT While working the problem and realizing D and V had not yet used... for EN ER.... DENVER would work wouldn't it? Just a thought?

Phoenix Representing. I will be posting up in Tempe and ready to go at a moments notice, but I hope the event, what ever it is, is held later in the evening, because this will be no fun when it's 112 outside.

My least favorite part of 42E ARGs is when there's an event and the cities are nowhere near me. I always feel useless and out of the game...

It seems that we have people ready and waiting at these cities. Don't get jumpy people. Watch and wait.

Don't worry. I'm used to the heat. You can stay inside. ;p

I know how you feel. Living in the center of the country sounds awesome and convenient, except it's totally not. Nothing cool ever happens in Nebraska. Sad

Edit: Did anyone happen to notice this on the TSN privacy policy?

I think we may have some Flash games in store for us...at the very least.

Cities Puzzle Completed?

I believe I have completed the last few cities for the puzzle, I can post my excel sheet if you'd like but I'll just list the whole thing in order here for now:

LOSANGELES--PHEONIX--LASVEGAS--PORTLAND--OAKLAND--WASHINGTON DC--NASHVILLE--CHICAGO--DENVER

ORLANDO--SEATTLE--BOSTON--NEW YORK--SANFRANCISCO--ATLANTA

On a semi-unrelated note, (well, everything is related I suppose) At the bottom of the missionicefly.com screen there is an area that is highlightable below the current "image" which displays the code/puzzle for the cities. I took a screen shot of it highlighted;

I am not too savvy with code quite yet, is there something hidden in the code down here? Or possibly saved for later? It just seems odd to have this floating extra space and lines for text with NOTHING in it... hmmm...

I'm coming home to nashville from dc on the 30th of course... What time should these occur? And do you think we'd get any hints of where it will happen (Nashville would be a much easier place to find the drop than dc)

Just check the element. Just blank space. Might have to keep an eye on it.

Are you really? I live in Knoxville and I would feel so bad now if I didn't make the three hour trip.

I am going to assume that the next clue for the city local events will be given when the portal on the front of the page opens... or perhaps its what will appear beneath the locations... right now this is all anyone's best guess!

By the by... I am wondering if I should ask but I might as well;

Fellhawke - have you already let us know what area you are from? Or are you willing to tell?

The reason I ask is probably obvious now, is it possible that each city has a "Blue Leader" or other titled figure to spout little nuggets of information once the game REALLY kicks off? It'd be cool to find out if there is a blue envelope holder in the P-town area!
