Best case scenario we have the next entry in 64 days

Worst case scenario it takes longer than last wait

Probably take about 3 weeks and maybe we'll get a TTA vid to tide us over. That ain't too bad. When the season started, it was about 3 or 4 weeks between entries, with a TTA video in between entries.

Nice to know they're already hard at work on the new Entry, and even have some stuff filmed.

I can only imagine the revision process that went into Tim's scene at the start. Either way, it gave us more brilliant acting from Tim.

Also, I'm looking forward to when they do another video game stream. Those are fun to watch.

What makes no sense to me is why it took a few weeks to get it out if they already had shot the hoody chase scene or w/e you wanna call it. Coulda filmed tim's initial dialogue anywhere, take one more trip to the hospital, and all they would have had to do is point out tim's room that he would have mentioned in the previous dialogue shot elsewhere

just add full screen distortion and cut to the part where tim has the flashlight going. i'm assuming that's where they started filming the hoody chase scene segment, if not they could have thrown that in in the hospital visit again.

it just came off like they waited that whole time because of tim's dialogue in the beginning which again, could have taken place in tim's apartment for all we care

Just because they could half-ass something like that doesn't mean they should, and in this case especially I'm glad they didn't. If they committed to some kind of solid schedule for releases then maybe, but since they didn't, there's no real reason for them to cut corners like that if it means taking Tim's confession out of the location where it would be most profound, using a take that they're not completely satisfied with, or screwing with the continuity of the scene due to changing weather patterns. Nobody's gonna die if they take some extra time to get an entry exactly the way they want it.

I would totally agree to that if there were any real point to Tim giving his confession there when, in fact, they both show an aversion to going to that hospital.

There's a thematic point--it's the place that's haunted Tim, it's the place where Alex has fucked with both Tim and Brian, and it's the place where Jay feels the need to explore. It's suiting that Tim would confess there.

Exactly right. Furthermore, Tim intended to explore the place for records anyhow, so aversion or not, they were going back there anyway.

You're supposed to justify the thematics with logical reasoning, not justify the lack of logical reasoning with thematics.

Yes, it is dramatically useful for Tim to confess there, but because there's so little reason for him too, it looks out-of-place, & forced.

It is true that they then have him search the place for records, but that's kind of weak reasoning, & it also seemed like something Tim came up with after the fact, not that he'd been planning on doing. At least to me.

It's where Tim's memories seem most profound, and where he spent much of his childhood. Furthermore, he told Jay in the previous entry that he wanted to tell the story at the hospital, so it actually makes sense both thematically and logically anyway.

I never said Hoody was Alex. I just said it was obvious that the actor stand-in for Hoody on that shoot was Joseph. Razz

I don't see how that is logical at all. Why would you hike all the way out to an abandoned hospital in the middle of nowhere where a goddamn faceless monster is believed to live, just because you might get a tiny boost in your memory?

Speaking of memory, if it serves, Tim said he wanted to show Jay something, which was apparently the room. Before it comes up, I do not think this is a legitimate reason either. He could just point to it in one of the entries & go, "That's my old room."

To Tim, it felt necessary to take Jay to the physical spot. Maybe he also wanted to confront his fear and anxiety of the place and what better way to do that than to go back to the very room you occupied.

You learn to read. I haven't seen anybody try to claim Hoody is Alex. Because it was damn obvious he wasn't when Hoody was there with Tim during the near "Alex gets his head smashed with a rock" incident.

Are you getting enough sleep, man? You are slipping.
