I don't see how that is logical at all. Why would you hike all the way out to an abandoned hospital in the middle of nowhere where a goddamn faceless monster is believed to live, just because you might get a tiny boost in your memory?

Speaking of memory, if it serves, Tim said he wanted to show Jay something, which was apparently the room. Before it comes up, I do not think this is a legitimate reason either. He could just point to it in one of the entries & go, "That's my old room."

To Tim, it felt necessary to take Jay to the physical spot. Maybe he also wanted to confront his fear and anxiety of the place and what better way to do that than to go back to the very room you occupied.

This and, again, the fact that they also searched for old records. Tim's decision itself may not have been completely logical, but then humans in general aren't 100% logical creatures anyway, so it's not like there's some huge suspension of disbelief required there. Their return to the hospital, however, did logically follow Tim's statement that he wanted to go back to the hospital in the previous entry, so basically there was no real reason for them not to go back from a narrative standpoint. He wanted to tell Jay the truth at the hospital while also hoping to find more clues there, so they went.

Simmer down now. Simmer down. It's ok. *pats pravado on head* It's gonna be ok. You just sit there and calm down. Want a drink of water?

You guys are overcomplicating this. The simple solution is that Tim's decision to go to the hospital is insufficiently justified.

He said that they needed to go. Do they need to go for Tim to say what he has to say? They don't. And they both have many reasons to not want to go, both from a rational standpoint, as well as an emotional one.

Therefore, there is no point to them going there.

And this isn't some super complicated feat of strategy that I'm expecting from him. Most of us realized this in, what, a few minutes? Tim had weeks to think this over. More to the point, Trosephim had a great deal of time to determine whether this would make sense.

But in the end, the truth is that they DID go to the hospital. Did they have a reason to go? It's a divided topic, just like whether or not most of season three is filler (not my opinion, but whatever). Why must we debate whether or not they had a reason to go, and instead look at it like this: they went, now let's predict the RESULTS of this happening?

Because it doesn't interest me. This entry was underwhelming. The next entry is likely to be underwhelming as well.

Then don't watch it. If something doesn't interest you, no one is forcing you to watch. Regardless, this thread is supposed to be talking about blog entries. I think we should get back to that, if at all possible.

I think it's kind of funny that you've chosen the "no one is forcing you" cop out. So far you've told me not to voice my (rational) dislike for the current developments, to show false enthusiasm by predicting their outcomes, & if I'm not willing to do either, to stop watching.

As for the topic, it's not the first time it's drifted.

You are posting your irrational dislike on a fan forum. That makes you a troll.

The simple solution is that Tim, for various reasons that are important to him, wanted to tell Jay the truth at the hospital, so that's where they went to do it. It's sufficiently justified.

Actually, you said you were disinterested. If something doesn't interest you, my advice is much the same. Don't bother with things that don't interest you. I don't watch Cake Boss. I never watched more than 5 minutes of Lost. I don't listen to rap music. I don't eat mushrooms. None of those things interest me. I am interested in Marble Hornets, so I watch it and speculate on its outcome.

You guys are cute to think that someone who is this far along with the entries would stop watching them because they were underwhelming or unsatisfying.

Seriously one of the dumbest rebuttals to someone complaining.

Soo, instead of offering insight as to why someone, who finds MH boring at this point, would continue to watch and then complain on a fan forum about how much they are bored and underwhelmed, you instead just attack everyone else for pointing out the obvious.

Yous be trollin.

I have one friend who stopped at entry 49, another at entry 61

Season 3 has been really weak compared to 2, I can totally see people stopping watching
