I sincerely hope the announcement isn't a season 3. Due to the fact that season 2 isn't even finished. Why announce a new season when you're not even finished showing the audience the climax of season 2? Idk, sounds stupid.

They are smarter than that. If they announce tomorrow "hey guys, Jay isn't going to die. Nor are the others probably. Season 3 is upon us hurr durr!"

Keep in mind, this is a mystery-type series. So where would be the mystery in that??

I will rage if they announce S3 tomorrow.

It's gotta be an online short-movie I feel like. Troy has explicitly made it clear that it's a BIG announcement. I wouldn't categorize another DVD release under BIG announcements.

Well, best thing is, the speculation will be done with today (at least where I am) and at most we only have to wait 24 more hours.

Maybe they're going to announce how many entries there will be, and maybe it will be a lot. I wouldn't like that, though. I don't want to know when Marble Hornets will end.

That's correct, the earliest we got a hit that there would be a second season was when Troy posted the credits for season one on THAC, with the the final thing in the description being 'Stay Tuned.'

Eh, for now I'm going to stick with my unreasonable fantasies about how there will be 1,000 entries which will cover roughly 20 years of fending off Slendy.

(Seriously though, I'm hoping for somewhere around 100 entries.)

Maybe they decided to veto there earlier decision to not join in the crossovers with EMH and TT. Then they can keep adding supernatural beings and after a few years become the online version of Supernatural.
