I actually like it quite a bit myself.

Ditto, it's different to most blogs you see.

Wow, I like this blog a lot! It's definitely one of the more unique ones that I've come across. Ironically, I would also say it's quickly becoming one of the most depressing.

Seems to be quite the opposite of what the author wants hahaha

Exactly, that's what I find so sad about it. It's trying so hard to drive home the idea of "I'M HAPPY, DON'T WORRY" when that clearly couldn't be farther from the truth. I find the narrator's extreme sense of denial much more disturbing than yet another person going "ohgodheisoutsidemywindowhelphelphelp".

I know what you mean.
It's very disturbing to think that this guy/girl has managed to get to us just by trying to be happy.

So I saw five pages of conversation and had heard recommendations from people I talk with off-site. I decided to check the blog out.

It's not bad, but I'm not particularly impressed. It's just very "meh" for me. Basically, the protagonist is trying to escape from reality ( No Escape From Reality, anyone? ) with a combination of pretending to be happy and taking all sorts of drugs. And that's it. I can describe the entire blog in a single sentence. Now, while I am a fan of simplicity, there's just no real direction to the blog. No story of any sort. No real personality to the character other than "I'm going insane and am using happiness to mask it." And really, it's a concept that's been done before. I did something similar (though not the same) myself a while ago. It just seems like your fairly stock sanity slippage to me.

Like I said, it's not at all a bad blog. I just don't see why people seem to think it's so great.

New post about nuking a facility. No, I'm not BSing you.

And I like this because it's different. Most I've read are "hai guyz, this is my life. oh weird stuf goin on. AHH! man with no face!". This one is him fighting Slendy out of his mind.

New post up today. It's about lemons and has gone back to the old "everything's great! Smile" style of posts.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Execpt for the hidden lines at the bottom of the post. Sounds like he/she is in a hospital or research lab 'cause of the mentions of equipment that was meant to be used. Also they had a restraining order against their father. Anybody else think that Charlie was part of a research team that got involved in things that they shouldn't have? From the mention of nuked facilities, working in an ER and now this post it looks like there was at least something going down.

Also it seems that

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
somebody died. Committed suicide right in Charlie's kitchen, right in the middle of a break down on his/her part. Maybe he was part of the original incident?

I thought this was a guy too. Unsure where that line of questioning came from.

I like the way the reality of his situation creeps in around the edges of his fantasy. It's just a lot more convincing to me than most blogs out there-- that he starts it as a coping mechanism in the middle of his troubles helps. So many of them begin what, a few days before things get weird? I like this approach better.

Also, it's not immediately obviously Slenderman. Points!
Also also, the whole cry for help/drug-induced rants/need to be happy happy happy happy in the face of awful things.... it hits close to home, man. Makes you want to help.

Oh my fucking god this. I usually stay away from blogs with a vehemence, but... wow. this one really takes the cake for a lot of the reasons already mentioned. Lack of Slender Man, Really good writing (the HAPPY thing could be done really hamfistedly but I think this has a good balance to it), simple, effective setup. The crazy posts are equally well done, and actually kind of unsettling.
