So, after watching the entry it's pretty obvious Hoody is TTA. But I'm still not sure TTA=Alex. If TTA is Alex now, then I believe there's been more than one TTA, as Alex = TTA doesn't make much sense if you remember Fragments and the "MUST DIE" in morse code that accompanies it. Perhaps it was a joint account? Masky, and therefore Tim, has at LEAST worked with TTA in the past. Maybe he and TTA (Alex?) had a falling out, and now Alex just uses the account.

Also, he's not limping is he? I can't tell for sure.

Aha! Further evidence that TTA is not Tim. I feel like they're really trying to make this point clear to us - pointing us away from one wrong answer in preparation for the reveal. And I don't see any reason Hoody would be anyone but TTA, considering the contents of Intermission. People even theorized back then that TTA would go pick up Jay's camera (man, we are good at this! XD).

Alex is being extremely suspicious, isn't he - leading Jay to Rosswood where both the Operator and TTA are waiting. An idea just struck me: What if this is similar to a Ring-type deal? Maybe Alex has to give the Operator somebody else to stalk to get him off his back.

Throughout season 2, TTA has seemed more and more hostile towards Alex. It started with tearing up a picture of his face in Fragments (I've speculated that the "you are broken" line refers to Alex). The phrase "enjoying watching you suffer" in Broadcast could be referring to Alex getting stabbed in #35. Then he calls Alex a liar in Sidetone. All of this plus Alex's violence towards Tim has made me extremely distrustful. I think he is up to no good.

So if Alex is trying to feed poor, hapless Jay to the Operator, then maybe TTA is trying to keep that from happening. That would explain why TTA follows Jay around, why he warns Jay about Alex, and even why Masky lunged past Jay to stab Alex (assuming a TTA/Masky alliance). It also explains TTA's completely non-threatening and even helpful gesture of returning Jay's camera to him.

And lastly, my top guesses for TTA remain Brian and Jessica.

This is all just my own speculation, of course. But at the moment, it's making a lot of sense to me.

A strike against the alex theory just occurred to me, if TTA = alex, and TTA was watching from a pretty close distance, wouldn't his phone go off when Jay called him in entry 40? as far as I remember his phone rang a few times before it went to voicemail so its definitely not off.

Is that Slenderman at 2:00-2:03? You can hear a little distortion, and then the camera turns away.

Also, does Blasky smoke? You can also hear a lighter when he gets in the car.

The Hoody mask is very very VERY similar to the "sad panda" effect in #22.

I'm not so big on the whole Blasky = Alex thing. It doesn't make sense than Alex would be willing to hang around with Jay before hand when confronting Tim, just to decide, olol Ima kill you now, or stalk you or what ever.

Unless something has happened that we've not yet seen or I'm just being an idiot.

Hey all, first post for me - I got a tip to watch marble hornets a few weeks ago and I've been just about obsessed with it

Anyway:

One could draw a lot of conclusions from Blasky. First, I imagine he's not been behind the cover of a mask for very long. It looks like a make-shift solution.

If this was someone who had arrived at Rosswood with the intention of wearing a mask, or if they were someone who has worn one extensively before, I'd imagine something more along the lines of what Masky has. This looks more like a piece of cloth with some holes ripped out. The mouth could be stiched, but hell, from the video quality, it could just as well be done with a textile pen or colored tape.

Regardless of who Blasky is, one could reason that he/she is trying to help Jay. It's the only explanation I have at this point for bringing Jay's camera back.

Now, we can only hypothesize as to the role the masks play at this point, but personally, I'm biased to the slendy-armor idea (I dunno if that's the general consensus - is it?). If that's the case, there's a chance that whoever Blasky is, they made the mask right then and there in order to safely travel into Slendy-territory to retrieve the camera.

Okay, I've been following Marble Hornets since the very beginning, and I've participated in a couple other Slendy related ARGs, but I never once registered here for some reason.

I thought of something (A random theory really) that I hadn't seen in this thread yet. It was enough to make me want to make an account, so I may as well share it.

It's been mentioned before that TTA's videos tend to have different moods about them. Some are warning, while some seem a bit more sinister.

What are the chances that TTA is more than one person? Perhaps a very small group of people who've known about the Operator for a bit, and are trying to help Jay? Could consist of anyone. Brian, Seth, Jessica, whoever.

Not necessarily saying this is MY theory, or the one I even believe. But it is A theory.

This could all be somehow related to Jessica - since her disappearance, nothing has been heard of her, or seen of her. Jay should have gotten many tweets about her, and he chooses to pick up on one now? Seems a tad co-incidental, no?
