 		My best guess is that Jay got lost (and TTA being nonchalant during #41 doesn't necessarily debunk this) or - perhaps more likely - was in some sort of trance a la Return. Slendy appeared in both situations and even though it admittedly looks a lot like the new mask the figure in Intermission seems to me like it's in a similar position as Jay in Return.

 		I think that Alex brought Jay to the park to expose him to the Operator (and by showing the the camera right afterward he'll be one of the Slendy stalked. This episode also implies that the mask is a way of hiding from the Operator.

it's not necessarily TTA, but i agree with everything else. blasky had to have known what happened to jay, whether it was a fate at the hands of the operator, meeting up with alex, getting chloroformed by tim, meeting some chick that calls herself jessica, or brian wanted jay to come with him to the store to get some snacks or something.


I'm pretty sure Brian is just gonna show up eventually and be like, "Hey, Jay, you wanted the sour cream and onion chips, right? Or were those for Alex?"


The Operator is just some nice but tall guy who Brian met at the store and sent back to ask for confirmation on snack orders.

... how can you remember when your amnesia starts?

the amnesia could have kicked in several times during the break between season 1 and 2

That's what he thinks, but maybe his perception of time is more screwed up then he realizes.

This all makes sense. I don't know how we didn't figure this out before. The Operator came back to get snack orders...and becasue Brian was twenty dollars short.

Jay doesn't remember anything from the seven months. There are two types of amnesia: retrograde and anterograde. Retrograde amnesia makes you forget things that already happened, and anterograde amnesia prevents you from forming new memories. Who's to say that the Operator didn't wipe the already made memories AND prevent Jay from forming new memories, and this effect only wore off the night before Jay woke up in the hotel?

 		We're still not sure exactly when 40-41 happened during Jay's 7-month interim, but I guess it wouldn't be too inconceivable if the amnesia also had a heaping serving of "months-long coma with someone anonymously dumping trancing you in a hotel room" to go with it.
