Does someone have like a translated version of all those jpgs. Like in English, so I know what the hell it is I'm reading?

This what you need Atreus? A friend of Yanka's helped her translate the Greek; this is Xnbomb's "mild liberties taken" with a foreign language/rough translation. He figures you can just post it over all of them; I believe that portion of the jpegs are all the same: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/download.php?id=1416

Wow that's pretty cool. Has it been done to all the jpgs?

No, it's a do-it-yourself kind of thing; although I'm sure if you're willing to volunteer, Niobexrev, BriEnigma would post them up on his site! (I almost wrote 'sight'; now Beth has me doing it, dammit!)

First post for me Very Happy
I hope my presence here does not drag the collective IQ down too far...

I worked on the Greek translations last night, to find they had already been done. Oh well.

xnbomb, I got something different than you for the gray status indicator. You have "Awaiting Input". From what I can tell (very limited exposure to Greek, mind you), the text reads "Apo ti grammi". Apo = by/from/of/off; ti = what; grammi = line. I take that to mean "Offline". (My own mild liberties taken) Wink

Some things I noticed (forgive me if these have already been discussed): Looking at the status indicator for the 3-Delos level on each of the JPGs, the indicator shows "Flood" on most of the JPGs. However, for the Surface, 2-Andros, 5-Kithnos, and 10-Tinos JPGs it shows as "Offline/Awaiting Input". Is this significant?

1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9 - Flood
S, 2, 5, 10 - Offline/Awaiting Input

I think I may need more coffee...

Holy crap! The incident logs thread is being thread-jacked! Smile

Seriously, since Katherine's Metadex has an email from Naida Rigatos, who set up the username/password, could it have been her trying all the different passwords and NOT Katherine? And have we heard anymore about this Naida lady?

I'd like to clear somethig up: my friend did not help me with translations; he is Greek, and he just translated the legend himself. He had problems with a few word choices (as I mentioned in the first incident thread); he thought that they might have been chosen by someone not very fluent in Greek, hence his problem with the grey one. Catherwood translated "grey" in an online translator as "offline", which is how we've been using it throughout.

I finallly got the nerve to ask him about the phonecall (I don't think he wants to be my friend anymore, btw), and at first he was convinced that there is nothing in Greek there at all. Then we thought that they might have used someoned who doesn't really speak Greek (Hollywood does that a lot - in some movies, I cannot understand a word of "Russian" that the actors are supposed to be speaking). So, after that he said that the words preceeding "Aqaupolis" might sound like "e klici ton", which would make the whole thing "a call to Aquapolis". He has no clue what the word(s) before it might be; and he can't even be sure about "a call to". So, nothing interesting there.

For what it's worth, the bottom of the index page is still the same (Welcome to the website of Aqaupolis. Greek version coming soon).

I agree with everybody that there is a timing problem in Aquapolis (not just in this log), but I don't think that the incident could be taking place in the future - I mean, I believe in fate, but that's way too deterministic, imho.

I think it might be useful to put things in perspective; below is how the system has been secured before:
Oct. 8
Code:
07:29:49-rec/manualoverride/beta/delos/7
07:30:32-rec/bulkheadclosed/beta/delos/7
07:30:33-send/systemcheck/beta/delos
07:30:33-rec/systemsecure/beta/delos

I think that this is the only time when manual override secured the system; also, there is no indication of a flood aside from the news, and the IP address was unauthenticated.

Oct. 21
Code:
10:25:01-rec/bulkheadclosed/delta/delos/A
10:25:02-send/systemcheck/delta/delos
10:25:02-rec/systemsecure/delta/delos

10:26:13-rec/manualoverride/delta/delos/A
10:26:14-send/deny/delta/delos/A
10:27:14-send/systemcheck/delta/delos
10:27:14-rec/systemsecure/delta/delos

This is where we think that the drowning guy was trying to open the door.

Nov. 6
Code:
03:14:24-send/systemcheck/delta/tinos
[breaches, manual override attempt on C]
03:14:39-send/systemcheck/delta/tinos
03:14:40-rec/systemsecure/delta/tinos

As I mentioned before, I am buffled as to how it's able to receive "systemsecure" given that SubPen and Delta are flooded at the time, but maybe it can be attributed to the fact that SafeSys ordered the flood.

Nov. 18
Code:
20:06:59-send/syntaxerror/delta/delos/13
20:07:59-send/systemcheck/delta/delos

Notice the 1-minute delays in some cases.

At this point, I am nearly convinced there is something/one on Delos. Either it is trying to escape or somebody is trying to get it out.

As for Kathy - I have no idea wth this is about. It looks to me like Delta is getting flooded on Delos, adn somebody is trying to open doors (notice the consequence of numbers, which probably means that they are near each other) - but I don't think they lead to the guest module, and there is no other way out of Delta on Delos [edit]except to either Andros or Ios [/edit]. When I first read the logs, I thought it wasn't her trying to open these doors - if I knew my password to SafeSys, I'd try it at least one more time (suspecting that maybe I made a typo, etc.) - but here, "notrespassing" is tried right after "laika". Which made me think that it was somebody who knew what her passwords might be, but wasn't sure exactly which one she uses for SafeSys. The fact that Kathy is in Greece at the time, of course, makes me very uncertain about this.

I do, however, wonder - where were these passwords attempted? I know there is monitor at the SubPen door (so there may be keyboards/keypads as well) - so there could very well be one at A on Delos; but that was not the door being opened. I guess they could have a keypad at each door, but that's kind of strange...

I agree with aqualung - the fact that the last attempt was not finished, but entered is weird (and what would have been a password for that one?). But it makes sense, though, that a minute after the last attempt, the system secures (in concordance with some of the last times).

So, yeah, I have no idea what happened here... Confused

P.S. Hi, Giskard Wink

EDIT:

P.S. One more thing - if the last 2 digits in the breach codes (00xx) do pinpoint specific locations of the module, then this time the breaches are at virtually the same exact location on Delta as on Oct. 21 (hmmm... and the timestamp that A.Cow.Herd noticed, could it be a hint at that?) - 004x.

Uhh... did everybody already see this and I am the only one that missed it (I just checked the entire thread, but didn't see anyone mention it)?
Code:
20:08:00-send/systemaok/global

What is that?? It never finished logs like that before - it never said that before at all; I just checked. "system a-ok"?? Why would it say that, especially given that it's Kat's favorite word? Could she have reprogrammed the log generating thing to finish with "a-ok", just as a joke/nod to herself?

Man, if Kat wasn't "transferred", I could easily explain this away - somebody on Delos was not Kathy, hence all the different passwords, and none are working because she is already logged in in the control room, and maybe a named user can only be logged in at one station at any given time; so she reads the end of the log and gets a kick out of "a-ok" sent at the end. But she's "transferred", so I guess that's out the window...
