Name This Team Purpose: Name the team of people who are currently playing the Metacortechs ARG. Members of this group can be members of other ARG's, past or future, and might or might not continue to be part of the group after the game is over.
Usage: The name will be used for all online references to the game players, Metacortechs IRC chat should be moved to #groupname channel, and groupname.org will be maintained as a reference after the game is over. The name will also be used if there are any press releases about the game. The name will also be used "in-game" should any character ask us who we are as a group.
Methodology: Names were narrowed down from previous naming thread and I had to make an administrative decision as to throwing some in the bin. If you feel strongly about a name that is not on the list, PM me.
Guidelines: A name should professional and representative of all age groups participating in this name. Yes, try to make is sound cool, but be careful it doesn't sound like you're trying to be cool (get it?). Test the name on your friends and family. If their first reaction is "losers" you know you have a problem.
Notes: I know some of these are multiples, especially the "Meta-" one which could mean 20 other names. We'll run a seperate poll if one of these is chosen, sort of like after a semifinal. It might mean that Meta gets more votes simply because there is more choice, but I can't think of a better way to narrow it down.

New Poll Option added:
Based on some responses I got, I added a "I HATE THEM ALL" option. I will keep in mind that the 19 people who already voted didn't get a chance to choose that if it's what they really wanted by factoring the percentage of votes over total voters before and after the 19 votes.. whatever that means.

I think that Core techs is the best, because it's similar to the main SITE of the ARG - MetaCortechs .

I might be wrong, but from what I understand one of the players of the Beast had a boat named 'CloudMaker(s)', and - for whatever reason - they apparently decided to adopt that name en masse.

I would have voted for MetaUrchins if it had been an option. The game was Project MU to the PMS.

Well I personally like Project MU, since it sounds sort of mysterious and... greek. Definitely makes us sound like marionettes in an alternate reality. Somehow. Like a lab experiment almost?
BetaTesters is kinda cool too, but it'd be way to hard to find us on google or anything (18,600 results), and it's too general.
Just noticed Ehsan's betagroup1 suggestion. That's kinda cool, slightly mysterious, almost "hacker" sounding in a good way... Would definitely spark curiosity in any person that didn't know about this ARG, and just stumbled upon a website dedicated to it.
