It's not an arg - it's a interesting web site promoting the movie that is still up and was recently mistaken for an arg by someone who hadn't seen it before.

Yeah, this was one of the first transmedial tries for movie, as far as I know. This website was created for the movie and you can find there more footage and stuff explaining the movies enigmas.

I wanted for years to click it through, but couldn't find time for it.

The only thing is: this design is very very cool, even nowadays, so I'd call it revolutionary for those times.

The only thing I don't get is, if the movie was 2001, why the website was created 2007 according http://www.domainwhoisinfo.com/donniedarkofilm.com ?

Or perhaps they had another URL in those times, and the website is older than its actual domain?
