So basically, TTA's saying that Jay's lieing, and that he DOES know (or at least has an idea) as to who the hooded figure is in #41?

Okay, well I didn't plan on sleeping anyway, its cool. Okay, the way I see it is that the baby is indicative (hurr durr) of either Jay or Alex, as in, it represents them. If this is the case this is most likely to be Alex has he has been stalked since he was a child, but it could be either of them. The OPER 0 could represent that they can see the Operator, of maybe even the Operator has metaphorically blinded their sight(and maybe their better judgement). This could be possible with Alex as he pretty much set Jay up to run into the Operator, but this is all disputable.
The main thing I like is the water, and I don't think this is melted/melting plastic, from just the way it looks. There is also charring around the eyes and mouth and actually the more I look at the baby, it looks slightly like the Masky Mask (them darn eyebrows). The charring could show that the person that the baby is supposed to represent has had their house burnt down (Jay, even though he wasn't a child), or suffered some other like injury while they were a child.
The water, well that's anyone's guess. This doll could also have some relation to Jessica, but she's such a darn anomaly that it's hard to tell, with have literally 0 background information on he

Regarding the audio...

I do hear: "I made a mistake" clearly hearing that, continuing with

"...this place used to be a" or "there was supposed to be a" "(?cooker ?hooker)" "she just" then it drops out.

And to me it sounds like jessica, on the phone. but might just be my wish to bring jessica back in the game.

I, too, am a lurker provoked into posting by this video.

I think people are way overthinking things to some extent; if I can use some OOG knowledge, we know Troy and crew aren't wanting to work on Marble Hornets for the rest of their natural lives; I expect some surprises but I don't necessarily think the plot is supposed to be some five-dimensional Xanatos speed chess(tvtropes, look it up) complexity.

While there's a few ways the newest vid could be interpreted, I think it fits neatly into one of a handful of theories. The most likely is the people or persons under the totheark account are opposed to whatever Alex has planned and are trying to scare Jay off/warn him of the danger. The cryptic nature of the videos prevents their hand from being tipped - after all, Alex can go on YouTube himself and watch these things. It may also be possible that the cryptic nature and the masks of Tim/Masky and the more recent hooded mask-wearer are to prevent the OPERATOR from getting any undue tips, since at the very least ol' Slendy seems to have his hooks into Jay to some extent. (Return, enttry #37 and the odd fits right before it on the Twitter, among other examples.) The 'threatening' nature of the videos and the art-house style could also be a simple way to make sure Jay pays attention to them... or even an indicator that TTA is 'touched' in some way as well. I'll get to that in a moment.

This could be a simple matter of the Operator 'infecting' video cameras/tape he's been observed with, which is how Alex was able to escape until his girlfriend pulled out the camcorder. Ironic, since Jay's self-recording would be exactly the wrong thing to do in that situation. It also is the most direct and obvious interpretation of "He lies". Alex is not being truthful in some way and trying to pass the buck along to Jay.


The second theory I had was TTA was the Operator himself trying to communicate his alien thoughts in a human-understandable way. I don't think this theory is likely, but I do think it is likely those the Operator has 'touched' find their own ability to communicate garbled at times be it due to a corrosive influence on their mind or controlling them directly. Again, enttry #37, TTA's vids, Tim being completely nonverbal while masked aside from a near-guttural "No!".


Either way, I think at this point it is absolutely clear that Tim/Masky and TTA do not wish to kill Jay. They've each had AMPLE opportunity. They may not be benevolent - this could just be a ploy to get Jay and Alex back in the clutches of ol' Slendy so he might feast on their delicious brainmeats, or whatever - but their goals seem more to frighten Jay, not directly harm him.

Is it me, or does at least part of the music in the background sound like Reveille? Maybe an indication that whoever is watching should wake up?
