 		I think "He lies" is probably in reference to Alex. I've been strongly paranoid about him ever since the entry where he tried to get Jay to follow him to an area in the forest, and wouldn't tell him why.

Well if TTA/Hoody is anything like Tim/Masky, he is capable of living a normal life on the outside world. Remember, Tim was totally fine when he was being interviewed by Jay before. So I'd assume TTA takes off his mask, goes to the store and buys one. He clearly has a lot of free time on his hands what with the craziness and all.

OK, I'm not gonna say with certainty that Jessica is an insignificant character, but it really annoys me the way that people who want to believe she is significant jump at every tiniest possibility that she's involved in something without much to back it up. If Jessica comes back in to play significantly, we'll know it when it happens. I can tell you, it's not now.


But you cannot say without a doubt that TTA or even the new masked person is not Jessica. Nobody knows for sure who TTA or the masked person is. Jessica could very well be important. Why else would she be there at the start of a new season? She had an adjoining room to Jay! How is that not important? She is just as likely a suspect as any other character. Jessica is just another suspect for being behind TTA as any other character is all I am saying. I am not saying she IS TTA just that is possible. Any of the character could be TTA, except Jay because it is not possible to film one's self in that way.

 		I swear to god if this thread turns into the "Who is totheark?" AGAIN, I am going to explode.

I took this as "Jay, you are stupid, the answer is really frigging obvious and you do not get it." Also the "You will never be free" I just took as "The Operator will stalk you for the rest of your life." The baby may have represented Jay or possibly just victims of The Operator in general.

If I'm right though, then I am confused. What is obvious about anything recently? Is there some obvious hint as to who totheark or Skimaski is, or what? Have we missed something? I guess as always we'll just have to wait.

Also he lies...could be referring to lying as in not the truth, or as in that he's dead. Ya' know, like "Here lies ___________". I'm beginning to wonder if that's what the "lies" in Sidetone meant...I theorize Alex to be dead though, as unless the huge pile of blood in 29 is a random animal or something, he's the only important character we haven't seen in the present 7 months.

Also, solid video, it creeped me the hell out.

 		With the binary completely cracked, I think it might be a subtle hint that Alex might've actually wanted Jay to be "tagged". He lied to get him there, to show our dear tall-friend Operator that he has "new meat" and this one is much more tasty.

I mean, what else could Alex's long talk about the trees-as-make-shift-racks?

If Alex is dead, that might explain why the Operator has moved onto stalking his next victim i.e Jay. It would make sense to me why suddenly in entry 40 the Operator goes right up to Jay instead of ignoring him like in Return.

Eh no problem, ya I actually agree that the series is too full of Checkov's Guns the worry about screen time, (Seriously before Masky, did anyone think Tim was gonna be important?)

I dunno, I actually thought Entry #38 was after #40 chronologically, but it is possible that that's not true. I figured Alex had died sometime later in the 7 months, if he did die (It's also hard to call people on the phone when your dead, lol.) Still, it could be a forgery of Alex's voice. I dunno, we must wait and see (I am excited.)

I highly doubt that #38 came before #40. The wait at Rosswood park seems to come directly after Alex tells Jay he'll call him. (Unless Alex tells him he's going to call again after his forest ghost story), I still believe that most of TTA's videos are actually aimed at Alex (It's pretty obvious that Alex watches Jay's entries when he says Jay isn't hard to find) If anything I've always been confused about why TTA seems to threaten whoever it's aimed at directly while giving them subtle clues. Maybe the clear messages are for Alex and the hidden messages are for Jay.

BTW, anyone else curious about where this was filmed? It appears to be a basement of some sort. Assuming TTA is still hanging around Jay than this might be significant to his identity

I'm not sure, personally, as I just noticed that the doll looks an awful lot like a certain mask we've seen. Right down to the eyebrows.

 		I think it's pretty obvious that TTA is referring to Alex with the "he lies" there really isn't anyone else it could be referring to.
BUT, we don't know if TTA is on Jay's side. He could be trying to turn Jay against Alex, because of whatever Alex is lying about or may know. Alex is the only one from the original MH crew that is still (as far as we know) up and kicking ( for lack of a better phrase).

Goddamn. I can't unsee that now.

The background noise sounded like Nintendo-ish video game noise to me, which made me notice the video game font. Probably just me. "blind," "messages everywhere," "signs everywhere," all seem to be indicating (oh hey, lookie that) that Jay's not seeing something that should be obvious.

(Alternately, Indicator and Operator--one points something out, the other acts. Jay's been fingered.)

"You will never be free" brought to mind not Slendy, but how some folks wondered why the hooded figure would return the camera, and how Jay woke up with a chest cam. He doesn't get to just drop the camera and walk away like Alex did--he'll never be free.
