Kudos to Diandra for finding this page from Beth's e-mail.

Very interesting... lots of new clues there... More significance placed on a "12 foot square"... That's been mentioned in relation to several of the events. Looks like he causes them.

Log

I discovered it through Beth's email to me. The URL was never provided, nor was it linked from anywhere.

First, a question only a noobie could ask-->
Beth's e-mail mentions sending her an IM if you have ideas, (her various messengers will be up). Do we have any messenger handles for her? AIM, MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, etc??

[spec] It seems to me that "her friend" is a broken program. If she lives in the world of the Matrix, she probably meets up with programs that have purposes i.e. Agents (not necessarily agents specifically, though). So, it stands to reason that, since we've seen so many in the films, there's a chance she'd run into a broken/exiled program i.e. Saraf, Keymaker, Merovingian (though, again, not them specifically). "Her friend" is probably a program that is malfunctioning...that'd explain his preoccupation with his "purpose within the system."

Just a noob sounding off, sorry if this I'm annoying and this stuff is blatantly obvious to you.

Someone with more time than I should map these, see if anything interesting comes up.

Once the "commotion" of talking to Beth on AIM calms down, I'm sure we'll be examining these in detail...

If this AI really wants to fix himself, he should harness the power of the Internet. Create a distributed client diagnostic program (like SETI@home), and upload his code in chunks for everyone to analyze.

Sheesh!

Wow. I wonder where you got that idea. Excellent! Or was it here?
