It also sounds strangely like the plot of a short story I read yeeeears ago... cept the ice cream was super fattening and there was another machine to lose weight... [/offtopic]

 		I know Jay was running and all, but Alex's calls seemed to go straight to voicemail just like Jay's to Alex. Could someone/thing be blocking their calls somehow?

Pretty sure Alex was driving when Jay called him. Being dead isn't very conducive to finding your lover.
Jay would either have been too busy running the fuck away from the Operator and/or getting lost/aimlessly walking around the forest.

Actually, as I typed that.
Maybe TTA placed it there (assuming it is some beige cloth) to get Jay's attention and maybe place more scrutiny on Alex? ('He lies' then referring to Alex)
Y'know, on the very off chance that it is cloth we see.

Well...

The Operator HAS been almost proven to affect most form of signals, between the video tearing and the garbled Tweet from Jay. Why NOT knock out cell phone signal?

 		I'm sorry people, but based on current trends I really think Brian vanished in a similar way Amy. Revised Theory: Slendy haunts Alex since childhood. Slendy shows up during Marble Hornets. Alex goes Slendy hunting with Brian and Tim. Brian gets taken by Slendy and Tim runs away. Alex also moves on and recruits Seth for Slendy hunting which probably pissed Tim off more. Tim teams up with Sarah to get revenge on Alex. (Sarah is Brians ex-girlfriend and were probably close while Brian was Tim's best friend). They form TTA to try and find Brian via Jay's video posts. Tim gets impatient and confronts Jay himself. After Seth vanishes, Alex gives up and goes home with Amy. Slendy (Who I believe is trapped into our world by cameras. Is looking for Alex once again. To either start looking for Brian again or to get revenge on Alex, Tim and/or Sarah plant the camera at Alex's house. When Jay picks up the camera once again to find Amy, Tim decides he doesn't need Alex anymore and goes in for the kill which backfires. Sarah than starts doing field work in place of Tim while his leg gets fixed. Alex at one point recruits Jessica, someone he knew as a child (They both lived in the area at one point) to increase numbers. Eventually, something happens that wipes Jay's and Jessica's memories. Tim wants Jay to continue to search for the "Ark" so he scares him out of the hotel and gives him the tapes.

I don't believe he is TTA either, I don't believe in anything, I don't support any theory until it's actually being true.
Speculating is fun and all, but when you take a theory and just always claim it to be true it turns annoying, which happens a lot here actually, doesn't it?

 		what everyone seems to be forgetting is that people can see the operator regardless of cameras. remember the beginning entry when alex said he and his dog saw it? he didn't have a camera on him, but went back to get one. the camera has nothing to do with initial appearance. i agree that the camera seems to spur a sighting in many entries, but we can't assume that he only appears when cameras are there.

goddamn science.

That being said, the shot of Blasky/TTA (which we're all assuming), the pan over to his disappearance and his plot development is he runs a friendly cam retrieval service?
TTA hasn't revealed himself for two whole seasons and people expect me to believe he showed himself, just to bring Jay's camera back to him?

TTA has been pushing Jay to look harder from the beginning. I can't imagine he would allow J to leave behind his only camera when J has already proved himself to be too much of a coward to return to places of interest just because they scared him (hotel, anyone?). Maybe he DID have more of an agenda than that, I just don't think it was the yellow squiggly.

Agree to disagree, however. Only time will tell, I guess!

As for the OOG stuff, I try not to pay attention. It kinda ruins the immersive experience for me.

Aside from Blasky's (presumed)presence near the parking lot, is the rest of this entry played out, analysis-wise? We've got J's super-human endurance (running for who-knows-how-long, and barely out of breath? Nice!), Alex's bracelet-thing on his right wrist, his suddenly-appearing watch on his LEFT wrist... What else?
