 		In between two scenes there is a second or two of black, indicating that the video was edited by Jay

Is it not possible that Troy saw that Joesph suddenly had a watch on in one scene and that's why he chose to cut the scene at a certain part of the video?

In game, Alex could have put on his watch during a part of the video that was cut. Simple as that. (I hope this is understandable. It's a little hard to explain)

Was actually agreeing with you. Wasn't being sarcastic(with the "makes absolute sense" part). Glad it only took me 21 posts to be figured out and categorized, though.

EDIT: For some reason, I got you and Mcgregor mixed up. My bad.
Back to the point - where's the obsessive nit-picking, exactly? I was literally trying to name things we hadn't discussed yet in a "we're out of ideas" sort of way.

 		Guys, do you see it? at 2:59, there is totally a slenderman. You just have to look really closely, invert the colors, and draw red lines around it in MS paint to define where you think it is.

I'm totally onto something.

Once I took a screencap and manually drew him in with my shady MS Paint skills, I TOTALLY SAW IT!!! Shocked

I don't doubt it, although

The picture doesn't look like the same type of room, and he said on his blog that he's not gonna be able to get much editing done from the hotel, so I think they might be shooting somewhere else.
