Yap. ARG is on.
panamoctober.com, however, is not legit at all, it's fanmade.
So anyways, people need to tweet the shit out of TheCapitol.pn page!!
I don't think fanmade= "not legit" right off the bat. Personally, I'll be following both games. I loved The Hunger Games and am excited for the movie, so I'll get an ARG fix while I wait.
Edit: I mean, I guess it's "Not legitimately the official one from Lionsgate" but I took "not legit" to mean "not really a game" or "not worth the time" or whatever.

I can definitely try. I'm listening to it right now and am having a hard time even hearing what constitutes a "dot" and what constitutes a "dash". :P I was never a boy scout, apparently.

I get that, but I have a bit of a hearing issue and was having a hard time making out the differences in the sounds from the background drumming track.
I did send the link to Mr. LittleAlbatross, who was an Eagle Scout (and doesn't have hearing problems. *laugh*) and he is working on it as we speak. I'll have him post here or post what he figures out when he is done.

Mr. LittleAlbatross reports that he thinks it is one of the following:
DZ7E
O7ZE
DZ7T
Which is less than amazing, I suppose, but it might be something to start with. He does acknowledge that he may be waiting for too long of splits and there are more than 4 sequences of code.
I have to head off here in a sec but I'll link him to this thread and ask him to post if he comes up with anything else.

I'm not a ham radio expert, but I'm sure that is not morse code. The rhythm is uneven and the pattern is too short. I think it is just static for effect.
The picture on the site is getting clearer, so I'm guessing that it is a kind of countdown. When the picture is perfectly clear and the static disappears, we'll get the full launch of the game.

NO, NOT A COUNTDOWN!!
You have to tweet #whatsmydistrict to reveal the image. The twitter-link on the site does not work, so please do so manually and tell your friends.

I didn't tweet manually, but the registration page came up for me this afternoon. I signed up for twitter last night just to register for the capital. I'm registering now.
Edited to include snark : You all are the only friends I have
Update : No, I had to send a tweet manually anyway. I'm all registered now.

Twitter has been touch and go for me. Sometimes it works, other times it doesn't. I just tried Facebook, and I was able to get in. I didn't try to post to facebook because I don't want to spam my family with HG posts.
I was able to get on last night with Twitter (which is all spam anyways), but now I can't. I just tried Firefox and Explorer.
