1 more week away until the Walt Disney Studios panel. There is an exciting list of people who are supposed to be there, including I think at this panel the Avengers cast.

Who all is for sure going to be there? What is our main plan/objective? -Not much has been said about that on here . . .

I need other people to help me move the time of the Bruce boxleitner signing. Did anyone notice the Walt Disney Studio Panel and his autograph signing are happening AT THE SAME TIME! Coolwaters will lose money and, we are forced to pick between the best panel at the Expo and our cyber hero!

you might get lucky though. Bruce likes to wonder and enjoy expos just like a regular human, so you may get some 1-on-1 time with him sometime in the day (and maybe a free autograph)!

My letter to Coolwater Prod:

Hello,

As a TRON fan, I was very excited to learn Bruce Boxleitner is scheduled to appear at the D23 Expo. However, it has come to my attention that his autograph window of 11:00am to 1:00pm will during the time of the Walt Disney Studios Arena Event from 10:30am to 1:00pm.

While panels and events are running through the convention, The Walt Disney Studios Event is one of the highlights of the Expo complete with studio premiers and celebrity appearances. Many of your potential customers, with myself included, find ourselves having to make a very difficult decision between the Walt Disney Studios event and the Boxleitner signing.

It is our hope that the autograph time for Mr. Boxleitner could either be extended, pushed later, or earlier. Personally, I know a shift in time would have me spending money on both an autograph signing and photograph from the TRON stars, whereas the concordance of Mr. Boxleitner's signing time to the Studio Panel would make it so I would not purchase an autograph or photograph from the other TRON stars.

I was just 'chatting' with Derek Maki, President of Coolwaters Productions. A big plus for us is Derek is a HUGE Tron fan as well. I think this works great for us because it means that Derek is going to go all out and i think as many of us that can support him, need to. This is the exact type of event that determines if we get a TR3N or a TR4N. I'm sure you all would love to see this go beyond Tron: Uprising.

Personally I dont dig this whole Tron & Star Wars animated thing. I want real movies. Live Action + CGI = Cool. Pure animation or Pure CGI = boring.

If you're down for this, then we should bring back the "FLYNN LIVES!! FIND KEVIN FLYNN" chant complete with signs, Flynn Lives apparel.

If Derek is on board, then we should plan something with him! Also, I'll inform other TRON sites (Including the Sector) about this.

i asked Derek this exact thing, his reply was that his only goal for TR3N was to make sure Cindy Morgan was in it, and ignored the rest of the "Flynn Lives, Find Kevin Flynn" inquiry I made. I assume as a vendor he has to keep focus on his booth.

 		Since Disney noted on the D23 website that no items may be signed except those purchased at D23 (with receipt) may be autographed. So i asked if he would allow us to bring items. his answer:

1) YES you are allowed to bring items from home to be signed! You can bring a DVD cover, or action figure or movie poster that you personally own and have it signed by one of OUR celebrities at OUR booth. YOU MUST PURCHASE an autograph ticket to obtain the signature BUT please remember that you are allowed to bring items from home. IF YOU DO NOT have an item of your own to be signed then we will provide you, AT NO EXTRA CHARGE, an 8x10 photo to be signed.

2) You can NOT pose for photos with the celebrities at the signing area! You MUST purchase a Photo Op ticket and be at the Photo Op area at the designated times to have your photo taken WITH a celebrity appearing at OUR BOOTH. THERE IS A CHARGE for photo ops!!!! 7) In order to have your item from home signed you MUST obtain an autograph ticket from our sales area (booth #405).
