Time of Pulse? So is the plan to do a Pulse during the Coolwaters event and not during the WDS Panel????
SO excited for this weekend! I printed a bunch of Flynn Lives posters size 5x7 or so - just wondering if I should pass them around during the WDS Panel or wait until after when Tron will be at Coolwater . . . ???
End of Line

Re: 1 more week! SUCCESS!! Looking forward to a very successful D23! Love the idea of a "Flynn Lives" wave. I think the wave would be most effective at the WDS panel. Not sure if Disney security would feel the same way, but perhaps Sean Bailey would be game & a good sport. It's been rumored that they might announce a TRON 3 at D23.
I'm not perfect, but I've tried to do my best in working for & being a supportive friend to Cindy. As most of you know she's a talented, smart, & caring individual. I wish her & TRON fans a life filled with happiness & infinite possibilities! TRON Forever!

Randy,
I'll apologize publicly as I did not mean to offend you and my personal negative opinion didn't really need to be publicized.
Also, i'm editing my comment, feel free to do the same if you wish. My intent was not to slander you or anyone else. i failed to install the "brain to mouth filter", or in this case brain to keyboard.
I support Cindy. You support Cindy. That's really what is important.

Steve,
I appreciate you being supportive of Cindy and taking the high rode by editing your post. Nothing in life is perfect & believe me there's a lot more "behind the scenes" wrangling than most people will ever know.
I went ahead and edited my post too.
I am looking forward to seeing (although I'm not looking forward to the 6 hour drive down to Anaheim from Northern CA/heck I can't complain Cindy will be flying in from Florida & back the next day) Bruce & Cindy together again. They're like a real married couple & their banter/humor back & forth cracks me up. I so wish they would have filmed them in the green room before the SF Wondercon viral event.
I think we're VERY lucky and I'm THANKFUL to Derek for making this TRON Day signing at D23 happen.
I know Cindy is in awe of the TRON community which has been so supportive of her over the years. They literally help to keep her going. GO TRON GO! Can't wait for a TRON 3 and I also think it's great that you're organizing a "Flynn Lives" pulse. Would LOVE to see a "Yori (or Lora) LIVES" sign or 2 in the crowd too. Great to see the ARG take on a life of its own.
Heck, last night I even dreamed that they announced TRON 3 was going forward & the script was completed.
Here's to hoping all of our dreams of a TRON 3 & 4 come true.
See you at D23!

its pretty late in the game, but i was thinking a Yori Lives shirt would sell well. I was going to try and get one made before then, but my shirt guy (well our shirt guy) is on holiday and i didnt give him enough notice.

Hey guys, just so you know, I posted this on Tron-Sector not too long ago about our D23 Pulse...
Quote:
I'm a long time lurker and first time poster to this site, and I must confess I do most of my posting on the unforum site after the FLYNN LIVES campaign.
I was wondering who here was going to the D23 Expo this Saturday. Members of the unforum board and I will be putting together our own D23 Pulse for TRON complete with FLYNN LIVES posters.
We will be politely vocal with our support for a TR3N movie at the Walt Disney Studios Panel taking place on Saturday from 10:30a-1:00p. Also, we will be there for the autograph signing of Bruce Boxleitner and Cindy Morgan at the Coolwaters Prod. booth.
I am pleased to tell you that after an email I sent the Coolwaters president, Bruce's signing will be moved to 2:00 with photo ops at 1:30.
If you love TRON and want to see TR3N join us! I'll be the one with the Captain America Shield and FLYNN LIVES shirt.
(btw, I'm Conan on the unforum site)
Yeah, and if you want to meet up with me personally, I will be using my Captain America Shield which I brought to the Wondercon Operation TRON event.

I had to check on that, I didn't realize they didn't hold one last year. I still remember the hell of trying to go to disneyland (had a day off from work and didn't go to the convention) since all the APers were using their parking passes to park in the Mickey and Friends structure.

I am presuming you have a parking pass since you're asking, the best and the free are two different things unfortunately. The 2 closest lots (since Timon is closed) are simba and toy story, but your AP parking only gives you parking for Mickey and Friends.
That being said, I do recall there being a shuttle service from the last time they did it, but to get there I think you have to go through security and cross the esplanade (the space between the two parks) to catch it. You might want to call the concierge for the disneyland hotel and ask if there is a shuttle to catch there.
Oh here is the info, looks like they won't provide free shuttles so your options are to pay $12 to park on site, pay 4 for the shuttle or walk it.
Looks like no personal items for autograph sessions either.

From what I've heard they might still be in line to get in the building.
Apparently there is only one door operating as the main way in, so depending on how fast they are processing people they very well could be stuck outside.

The TRON armor was so cool to see live! I didn't know this at the time, but did you recognize the audio in the scene?

It was the WORLD OF TRON on the old Peoplemover from Disneyland!
I miss that ride!

Fun thing to note, there were some major technical failures with original disneyland versions of attractions that were never repeated, such as Alice in wonderland and people mover having open air sections of track with hills.
So how did the pulse go?
