Yes you are right Aron, my mistake. They didnīt say that but they did say that have people in various areas, even South Africa was mentioned.

They received at the FS a lot of "Can I spread thet word in..." with various locations named.

So, all this "spread the word" thing, and it turns out 20 pictures published, half of them from Argentina? Itīs weird to me.

BTW, sorry for the "3-8-11" thing, thatīs the way the date is written in spanish

Except for the picture "Vende." According to the posters, it was made in Langreo/Llangreu, Spain. "Graficaslafeuyra" and "Escuela Europa" are from near Oviedo, Spain.

"Who ever castes the first stone is a liar". Thus he who castes the first stone gets the ball rolling (black and white pic from site, bad drawing with code)...a ripple effect. Creating thus a whole sequence of lies. One would hope then that they were protected by an umbrella. Just like rocks hitting a bell it sounds out to the world one giant symphony of lies.

So I see everybody is posting stuff... I did a quick google about 56 Floors and I found this post:

http://escuchar.livejournal.com/154139.html?mode=reply

I donīt think it has something to do with 8-3-11 but who knows...

It has no relevance, just someone trolling using guest usernames that have never posted before or after suggesting [then agreeing] with 56 floors.

Now that's what I call pathetic. That guy makes two other posts with different usernames to agree with himself, because nobody else does. He even calls himself "brilliant". You can tell from the same dumb writing style in his posts, always using all caps word(s) and too many exclamation points.

I think in this case "Forever alone" would rather apply than "Successful troll is successful".

Information recently posted on ATS -

http://www.majesticseo.com/reports/site-explorer/summary/8-3-11.info

Quote:
There are 56 unigue URLS involved with this website.

The FTP is to log in to the website to upload information. Technically, trying to log in there would most likely be considered "hacking", and I would be careful, I recommend *not* doing it, even trying could be trouble.

*However*, you can try to type in words in the URL in your browser after the /

I have tried a lot of words such as:

Help.html
MoreInformation.html
WhoIsBelle.html

and many more. Doing this is not hacking, it is just a way to discover unknown URL's. If you don't get a good page, you get the "You Are Lost" link. Nothing odd here, whoever built the site simply used it for the error page.

Use the knowledge you have gained to experiment with the URL's. You have gained a lot of clues, words, and hints, so now is the time to put them to good use. simply open a window, go to 8-3-11.info, and start typing some guesses into the URL after the /. If you don't get a page return, just the error, simply hit the back button.

56 distcint URLs indexed on that website. I think it was handwritten html, too.

Huh.

Anybody remember this theory?

Here's another far fetched theory (I'll spoiler it just for the hell of it):

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Belle is 6 years old in the photo, and she's 83 now, which means the photo was probably taken in 1934. On August 3, 1934, Hitler became the supreme ruler of Germany (and remember the first "images of Belle" photo was Germany.png). Perhaps the original photo will reveal Belle to be a former Hitler Youth, and we'll be challenged not to judge her for it (not to cast the first stone, as it were).
The umbrella, I suppose, could be a symbol for willful ignorance, protection from uncomfortable knowledge. "Retraction" could refer to closing up the umbrella and accepting uncomfortable knowledge.

That's not how you spell Heil.

Yep. "Hiel," however, is spanish for "bile." Of course we also know that these 8x3x11 folks aren't above spelling mistakes. Often intentional spelling mistakes. Even so, I'm not crazy about this Hitler Youth theory. I threw it out there as some entertaining speculation, admittedly far-fetched, and now I kind of regret it. Never underestimate the way some folks will grab on to some innocent speculation and run with it, treating it as fact. Any speculation, I think, is only valuable to the extent that it allows us to crack a code or unveil a new page on the site. A careful reading of this thread will reveal that no clues or speculation based on those clues has yet led to such a result, apart, perhaps, from the unveiling of the topdown.png. That contribution, as it turns out, was from Coolson33, who I still think is a plant. Almost every revelation of new information on this thread was tied to him. Has everyone given up on cracking the second coded message?

So are we really getting anywhere, or just enjoying some speculation while we wait? I think it's most likely the latter. But hey, lets explore the bits of clues we haven't explored yet. Maybe we'll need the info later. Learning about stars was fun. Who wants to teach us more about that Bob Dylan song?

Is it just me, or are our guesses starting to take on strange poetic forms. And we seem to be getting more and more abstract. I'm kinda thinking there is something extremely obvious that we are overlooking. I'm not sure that this is as contrived as our searches have started to become.

I'm tempted to agree. I think - or at least, I hope - that all of the clues we need are on the website itself. I don't even think we should place as much significance on the Formspring answers as we have been doing.

In any case, when I get some time I'm gonna root around on the site itself some more, see if we can't dig up some stuff we haven't seen yet. Whoever suggested a few posts back that we should look for new URLs might have the right idea.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julian_day

check out the "calculations" section in this article. do you think this could be some kind of calculation like the JDN calculations listed on the above wiki page? longshot, but... at this point who knows, right?

this particular answer keeps jumping out to me, and does anyone know what the question came from, do we know the questioner? http://www.formspring.me/8X3X11/q/213448642571312783

I asked that question to 8.3.11.... it was bc someone had asked what the . stood for and the answer was 7.... i wasnt thinking about alt codes so i asked if it would be 873711...thats all...
