* it hasn't (apparently, *cough*) nothing to do with Resident Evil

In my opinion, this is not a trail website, but rather a preparations to some ARG, they are perhaps looking for co-PMs and helpers?

Only one thing that makes me some headaches is, it was mentioned at 4chan. But on the other side there were mentioned pretty many things, so I close the 4chan-paranoia at the same time I opened it here.

Another thing: I would love to contact them and ask for help, but if it's really about recruiting ARG helpers, than I won't be able to post in this thread anymore. So I'll better wait here and observe Smile

Not really sure if this is helpful, but entering a URL that doest exist takes you to a 404 page with some image and mp3 that no one has yet posted or looked into it seems, unless i missed something.

Anyway here are the files pulled from this.

Page Title is LookingForSomethingThatNeverExisted

LostInTheMountains.mp3 is the music that plays

Georgia.png is the image. If you dont want to look it up its an image of just the date with the girl in the numbers.

text on page is "You're lost."

not sure if lostinthemountains.mp3 or Georgia.png gets us anywhere, but i just thought someone might be able to make something of this that I'm not.

EDIT: I left the page up for a while, and it seems that there is some message hidden at the end of the lostinthemountains.mp3. I cant really understand it but it sounds like more numbers code. Not sure if that adds anything but if anyone has made anything out of these codes anyway it could be helpful. MP3 Found here http://8-3-11.info/lostinthemountains.mp3

Nice catch.

I checked the PNG, nothing. Also compared the LostInTheMountains MP3 with the original (disc 3 track 16) tyrolean mountain mp3 - once again identical.

The ALT property of the 404 page image, however, is "Tells"

One of the mp3's in the site is named "helpher.mp3". So are we supposed to help her, whoever she is.

Is it only me, or is the photo of this girl constructed from two photos?

I still have a feeling, the left and right parts of her face are from different pictures... Perhaps I'm wrong though...

I also tried an image search for similarity with tineye and with Google's updated image search, and neither produced any sufficient matches... who is this girl?

Interesting that the 404 page was updated - the old version isn't available any more. The image (georgia.png) still is though.

Hi, i came over this strange site by 4chan, then there by searching for more information about it. I see I'm not the only one being puzzled by it...

I've made a simple google search with "Belle M Alberta" and got a single matching, a 1949 book called "Alberta" by M. Belle Ricker. Seems more than a coincidence to me, but I can't find anything relating this book to any other part of the site.
