in this thread here the thumbnail for the bellem.png shows a similar error (although the image itself is fine). There's something messed up about this picture, but I haven't heard a real complete explanation for it yet.

There is something else though, a number of people have now said that while messing with the exposure it's become more obvious that the image is a splice, can someone post a few images to show how this is, so everyone can see? The splice vs no splice debate is still pretty heated, and there are a lot of people arguing for both sides.


I mirrored the left side and the right side in photoshop and it is definitely two
different girls.

 		I think we should be focusing on the encoded messages. 175,000's replacement stated that their alphabet has 38 characters.
I googled 38 letters and found this link:

 		Even though they said it's based off English... the spanish alphabet is 38 letters if I remember correctly.

Strange. I try to keep the wild theories to a minimum. Maybe that's what pleases them.

It also explains why my numbers have jumped...

Actually, it's 27. The erre is still r. The r can be either ere or erre, but it's no longer considered a separate letter.

38 letters with similarities.


With 38 symbols, that means the symbols represent sounds. You can't use usual substitution ciphers to try to break this. We have to start to figure out which sounds the symbols represent and fill in the missing blanks.

For example - the word "each" is represented by four letters, but only two sounds - "long e" and "ch" so in a "sound-based" symbol language there would only be two symbols.
