Maybe the Operator has two "modes". Attack mode and stalking mode. He looks different in this entry, because he could have been trying to kill Alex. In Entry #41 (I think) when Jay has the close encounter, he's in stalking mode.

I'm not sure if it looks like it to anyone else, but the Operator's arms seem longer in this Entry. This could mean that he is indeed in attacking mode. Long arms could help prevent people from escaping. And the sickness inducing would help as well.

Huh, that is a good idea. I noticed that he looked different, but didn't think much of it. The only question is, why try and kill him now?

The problem with this assumption is that we really /don't/ know what the coughing fits mean and we have yet to see any evidence that The Operator is able to immediately effect control over an individual. Although it is relevant to point out that the only other time we've seen someone fall down from a coughing fit, it was Jay in Brian's House, and we've also seen both Alex and Jay come this close to The Operator before without being overtly effected. In both cases, the guys simply took off.

Hence why I said maybe. This is all speculation, even what you said can't be confirmed. I simply came up for a reason why this coughing fit happened when in other confrontations there weren't any coughing fits, like when Jay ran from the Operator in Entry #41 instead of falling down, coughing.

I honestly think that that was Alex, not Jay. After all, he was the last person we saw on that tape with the camera.

He could be angry that Amy is gone. He could be hoping to prevent the Operator from killing his loved ones in the future. I'm not sure. But one thing is for sure, the Operator needs to be gotten rid of, and I'm sure Alex realized this.

Best entry yet, imo. I freaked when I heard Alex say "Jessica." As for Alex not trusting Jay, I think it has something to do with the fact that Alex thought Jay would still try to upload entries, which would give away their locations. I think that's how Alex sent him the package, and probably how Masky found Jay at the hotel.

She didn't mention anything about roomates. She just said she was kicked out. It could've been from her parents house for all we know. But honestly, I think she was lying, since she later confesses that she has no idea how she ended up in the hotel.

Doubt it. In this video, they just begin to investigate what happened to Amy. I highly doubt that they would have waited 6 months after the Entries at Rosswood Park just to finally start doing this. This is probably within a week after the last entries, otherwise Jay and Alex would have mentioned how long it's been.

Plus, the hotel that Jay is at in this entry looks different from "the" hotel. The doors are brown instead of white, his room has a little counter, the ends of the hallways are different, etc. The carpet in the hallway looks similar though. It could be a different floor of the same hotel.

Oh, and where does it imply that Jessica was living with Alex and Amy? Alex says that she is his roommate. I took that as meaning that she is his current roommate. Alex no longer lives in Amy's house since she disappeared, so it plausible that he moved in with Jessica, who appears to know Amy in some way.

The hotel Jay woke up in was booked for one night. Of course it won't be the same hotel.

Alex: I don't think so, I don't see my roommate's car...

His current roommate's car wouldn't be at that house, it would be at his apartment. So it is safe to assume he is talking about the roommate that lived with him at this house. Which is further implied to be Jessica by when he says he's calling his roommate.

So, I noticed with everyone pointing out that Slendy looks different, his face looks more... face-like... with a brow line and cheek bone. Although that might just be be a twig in the way.

The above assumes he's looking to his right.
